Oct 19th 2009 11:57AM The problem with your comment is that yes, being able to top the charts on only 2 fights out of 10(if you count normal and heroic versions) is bad, when on almost every other fight i see warriors in the bottom 5 or 6 against equally geared hybrid classes. You may prefer it, but i guarantee most people would rather be 3rd or 4th dps consistently every fight than rock bottom for the majority and 2nd or 3rd for the two hard fights.
And come 3.3 you must consider that EVERYONE will be scaling with better gear. Just because fury warriors scale the best with gear doesn't mean that in the next tier they will all of a sudden become top dps. You are starting well below most classes, and i seriously doubt the gear scaling is going to be so much that you overtake most classes.
Leave it to a warrior to bitch even when im calling for yall to get buffs.
Oct 19th 2009 11:14AM At this point i just feel bad for dps warriors. Blizzard for some reason refuses to fix their problems, despite them being consistently among the lowest dps on any gimmick-based fight(being able to destroy on Patch is great, except for there are no fights like patch in the current tier of content). Heroic Anub and Twins are the only fights i see warriors able to top other classes with ease. As the patch 3.3 notes continue to change hopefully we'll see some warrior buffs/changes.

Oct 6th 2009 11:20AM I personally hope they don't change PoM. I guess it is somewhat annoying for disc pve but i find that not to be the case. Shield the tank, toss a PoM on him and when the shield gets fully absorbed the very first damage is healed without you casting anything at all. It's good for disc tank healing, which is all disc should focus on tbh.
For pvp it's great. Having a shield with a PoM also means that almost 8k of burst can be covered instantly, without you having to blow penance to top some back off. It's especially good for arena, but if the shield on a target makes it go away then it would be awful. It's already one of our coolest/best spells, i don't think they need to improve it much.
Aug 5th 2009 5:11PM First if you were expecting a shadowfiend buff you clearly haven't been paying attention to anything happening with mana regen since WotLK launched. If you are going OOM try not overhealing as much. Or actually use OO5SR regen once in a while. Just cuz it got nerfed doesn't mean you dont go back to 100% in 20 sec. Our mana regen is fine, in fact it is still too high. Even after the replenishment nerf it will still be too high. Dont forget potions still exist as well. Point is, Priest are right behind druids in mana regen, and we should not be going OOM if everyone is doing the fight even somewhat correctly. Maybe the nerfs will actually encourage people to stop needlessly spamming CoH and PoH and learn to heal.
Jul 22nd 2009 11:54AM I for one am excited as hell for the Horde priest set. Healing in that is just gonna look badass. And finally shadow priests won't have to look like dark angels

As previously mentioned the rogue comment would mostly apply to pre-WotLK end-game.
Spriest leveling is extremely fun and not hard at all, even pre-shadowform, although priest is a class i wouldn't really recommend for casuals. Also once you reach late-vanilla/BC content you will never have to stop for drinking as you can just alternate mana regen CD's and you will have constant replenishment
Hunters, pallies, and dks are all obvious casual choices as they are easy to level, not extremely gear dependent, have high survivability and are generally fun to play.
All casuals should avoid shamans as they are aren't very hard to play but are very time consuming just due to totem dropping. Though dps shamans are in very high demand right now as totem buffs+Bloodlust>>>another DK dps.
Mages destroy mobs at low to mid levels, capable of killing an attacker before they even land a blow, but at the cost of terrible mana efficiency. There is a reason mages can make their own water, you will be drinking after a very small number of pulls for much of the game.
Warriors are a decent option for casuals, but if you wanna wear plate and kill things dk or ret pally is a much easier way to go.
Locks are easy leveling and fun end-game. Not as good for casuals as hunters, but not really much harder or more time consuming either.
Decent article, would have liked a more in-depth look into class choice, but wasn't expecting much as it is WoW Casually
May 25th 2009 3:13AM idk why but this interview really made me want to try Spriest arena. sure, i'll lose all my rating but fuck it, Spriest is still the most fun spec for an undead priest.
