May 12th 2009 11:07PM I played a Undead mage on my friends account till lvl 10, then got my own and started a gnome rogue, and night elf druid. Patch 0.12 made me make a druid, breaking snares made me a monster flag runner.
I still play both toons from time to time but my Troll Dk takes up most my time. =D
Mar 24th 2009 5:51PM I understand them not wanting ghost towns.
Ghost towns in the real world become such for a few reasons, environmental catastrophe, isolation, lack of food/water, just to name a few. There needs to be reason's to go there, being sent by a quest is rather lame and lazy when it happens between every zone.
Maybe sitting in the inn getting what you'll need for your next trip out you over hear a rumor of a town in the next zone has something you might have been looking for.
I think the answer might be found in house's or guild halls. While the banks are nice. SWG for instance allows for towns to be set up in the wild's where you can build a town hall, and house's of all shapes and size.
While I'm not saying to follow that example, there is A LOT of space where nothing exist. It would be nice to run into a cave expecting a fight, and finding a small goblin village, or climbing a tree to reach a path that leads to a small house tucked away in the hills.
The content is great, but a little depth could go a long way.
Mar 7th 2009 11:28AM Roll on the item, if you get it, its your choice what to do with it.
I tend to set it to ML when I am grouped with a pug, and then I make them all roll for the item, if the person who won the roll wants it Disenchanted then I pass the loot to an enchanter I trust and the winner of the roll is passed the DE'ed loot.
Of course if there is not a Enchanter in group, I'll leave it on group loot.
Feb 16th 2009 9:20AM This is great stuff to talk about, we'll need more talk once we get closer to the release. I have no doubt, we'll be hearing more on this.
