Jun 1st 2011 1:55AM Speaking as a former long-time feral player, bears disappeared in wrath because cats were so very good to play.
Now it's a sad joke for either bear or cat and I just don't enjoy it anymore.
May 19th 2011 11:01PM I was very lucky in that my partner and I both started playing WoW at the same time back in vanilla days. We each independently looked over the available races and classes then chose what sounded like the most fun to us. As it turned out, I rolled a feral druid and she a holy priest. We got away with absolute murder sometimes, back before so many things were noobified. (Quest sparkles, hellooo) We'd start questing in a new region and would fully explore it before we got down to business hunting things down.
Apr 12th 2011 8:49PM Hallelujah! I'm a bit sad my bear no longer finds it fun to tank randoms and sad my cat struggles to do respectable dps without pulling aggro and getting pasted. It's gotten so bad my original druid character sits unplayed.
I'm having more fun these days as a resto shaman...
Apr 10th 2011 6:53PM For myself, Cataclysm has changed my main from my original first character Zainwolf, a Night Elf feral druid. I'd played feral since vanilla days and was very experienced as both cat and bear, but Cataclysm just left me feeling very let down in either regard.
I still love to play WoW albeit more casually these days. (Perhaps still suffering Wrath raiding burnout?) The disappointment with the current state of feral druids and subsequent nerfs opened the door for me to finally try my hand at playing a shaman. So I rolled a goblin with a mind to be elemental and named him Megazap. Then I fell in love with resto healing and now my shammy is my main AND on the opposite faction as I'm used to. Much fun!
Apr 8th 2011 10:53PM I did ONE BoT trash run on my cat and scored it! Squeeeeee!!!
Apr 4th 2011 12:19PM I collect all of the fun, non-tcg loot card toys in the game I can find... You name it I've probably got it somewhere.
Apr 1st 2011 9:15PM I also think the touring rocket scam is merely a cheap ploy to identify accounts that presumably have gold in order to target them for hacking.
Apr 1st 2011 9:03AM With heirlooms and guild perks, it's a walk in the park to dungeon grind to 80...
Mar 25th 2011 8:09AM A quest to visit the Ethereals would be awesome.
Mar 22nd 2011 12:15PM I disagree that tanks set the pace. Only stupid ones! The healer's mana levels set the pace.
So many times healing randoms the tank runs off to pull more mobs while I drink and loot.
Sometimes I just let them die to teach them a lesson. Better than frantic panic-healing with low mana at the start of the fight!
I hate to do it, but I'll simply bail if the tank doesn't "get it" and keeps that sort of behaviour up. If he's a jerk on top of that he'll make the "never heal again" list.
