5 reasons you should love Cataclysm {WoW}

Nov 21st 2011 9:48PM @ Chris W

WoW insider has plenty of complaints about the game.

But unlike OTHERS they share what they think are positives. Whether you agree or not is your prerogative.

With the community right now pretty much ONLY bashing shit, it's kinda refreshing to see a site without people whinging about how the sky is falling and how terrible everything is and has ever been.

WoW Archivist: How each WoW expansion set the tone, part 2 {WoW}

Nov 15th 2011 1:51AM You mean fighting them throughout history or just this expansion?

Caaause in seven years I think I've inadvertently killed more Trolls than anything else, ever.

And all of them were 'rebellious'.

(Amani, Sandfury and Drakkari were more of a grey area if you ask me.)

I mean a beard without the moustache. Like clean shaven on the upper lip. They have a goatee, that's about all I've seen. I like it, but I'd prefer something bushier.

No, I meant the normal run. But yeah, chalk running wild as another con.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Best things about warriors {WoW}

Nov 5th 2011 9:15PM From a guy who plays only males.

Forsaken - A decent looking, horror-inducing race. Shoulder armor strikes me as a bit small, but I rather dig the way they work. Necromantic magic in their arms = Strength, I assume.
Orcs - Orcs rock the warrior, hands down.
Tauren - 1h animations seem a bit lacking, and it FEELS sorta slow, but a race i'd definitely choose for a warrior.
Trolls - Usually either a hit-or-miss with armor, tusks and ears rule all, along with their generally savage nature make them real suited to this. On the wiry side, though, wish they went with the WCIII berserker model for WoW.
Blood Elves - Despise EVERYTHING about this race being a warrior. Most namely TG warriors.
Goblins - Love this race. Very bruiser-ish feel, mixed with green skin and big ears are a total win. Plus, you can always visualize heroic leaping out of an explosion or twelve. Armor can look a bit awkward though.

Alliance
Night elves - Good looking (If they have eyebrows), and look good in armor, but the waist-line to shoulder ratio makes them look weird as hell.
Humans - Humans are ok. Wouldn't play one, but that's just me.
Gnomes - Awesome animations but awkward looking build and running animation, along with the lack of a beard sans a moustache are a dealbreaker for me.
Draenei - Winners. Racials are very nice, and they look overall great. Hooves are great. Females don't seem quite as suited to it, though.
Dwarves - Very warrior race. short stature and beards are win.
Worgen - The two-handed special animation has a lotta clipping issues with the ground, which bugs me, but the race itself is pretty cool. Dog-flop run is a bit awkward though.

Breakfast Topic: Do you have qualms about playing the other faction? {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2011 9:02AM I used to have very big qualms about playing Alliance. Then Horde got Blood Elves. I rerolled Alliance to get away from the annoying buggers.
