Apr 1st 2009 3:33AM This was the worst article on WoW insider I've read for very long time. Troll post. It makes me actually think if the person who wrote it actually understands strategies in Naxxramas at all or was just dragged through it.
10 man - tank and spank. Avoid void zones, heal through frost blast, contain 2 adds (1 tank though).
25 man - everything what's above + KT mind controls 3 random people. Who start doing stuff to raid and need to be contained. In the meantime KT drops all aggro and goes for person that gets it at this moment. If you MT has poor reflex or your DPS is dump, you will have KT running around Frostbolting people and tank running after KT trying to get KT back while in between over people (one good Frost Blast at this moment = wipe).
So now tell me - which version seems to be harder to you?
I understand both 10 and 25 are right now easy and doable in blue geared people (yea, right, patchwerk for blue tanks), but it doesn't mean 25 man is as easy as 10 man.
Feb 23rd 2009 8:40AM After leading our group for around 3 years, I get this feeling when we need to stop wiping. At first we wipe because so mistakes, then we try to correct those and other mistakes appear and so on.
At some point it starts getting better and better and you have hope it will finish with a kill. That's usually the best try for the night. And then people loose this focus and on next two tries you see it goes downhill. That's the point where I finish raids.
We rarely stop raiding earlier then 30 minutes before raid's end, but it happens sometimes. We raid 3.5 hour so it's always at lease 2.5-3h even if it's all night wiping.
Feb 20th 2009 8:42AM For Less-Rabi, what actually helped us, we counted seconds between changes. Below 50% he casts it every 5 seconds exactly, so if you have good timing, you don't actually need to watch cast bar. We needed some practice, but it worked :)
Feb 18th 2009 10:05AM For dual PvP spec, resto will profit a lot. There are two different healers build right now in use (with some variations). One is Feral/Resto hybrid build with all Feral survival talents up to Primal Tenacity and up to Swiftmend in resto (37/34). And of course full resto tree build (15/56) which is much more useful in non-PvP situation and much more healing oriented in general.
At least that's what I plan to do.
Feb 5th 2009 8:49AM Dual spec for leveling would be very useful for all healers/tanks. So you can go DPS spec while soloing and healing/tanking whenever you can get team for instances. This is usually major pain to gather proper team for leveling instances - they offer very nice reward to not level-maxed characters
