Breakfast Topic: Your best instance run ever {WoW}

Jul 30th 2009 8:49AM My best would definitely be my first Karazhan run. 7 epic upgrades. AWESOME

Totem Talk: Patch 3.2 PTR {WoW}

Jun 20th 2009 10:58PM * All Shocks now have a default range of 25 yards, up from 20 yards.

A solid, unremarkable but welcome change. More range is good.

This change is definitely more than "unremarkable". For elementals, 5 yards more to our interrupts, slows, and flame shock? Amazing. They'll probably change the flame shock range increasing talent though, as a 40 yard flame shock might be a little out of line with other caster ranges (aside from judgement from holy paladins with their talent, but they're supposed to be healers, so a 40 yard range is in line with its other healing spells)

Totem Talk: Patch 3.1 and Shamans - The PvP patch {WoW}

Mar 27th 2009 5:02AM Btw Matt the glyphed Stoneclaw buff doesn't disappear when the totem itself disappears, and I think it's the same with Earthbind's snare. So it's possible to drop Stoneclaw for the shield, then Earthbind to root, then Tremor to clear fear.

WoW Patch 3.1 PTR Shaman changes {WoW}

Feb 24th 2009 7:31AM What I don't understand about the new talents is why they're both so far down the elemental and enhancement trees. I understand that they wouldn't want resto to reach it easily, but as elemental you won't be able to reach Frozen Power at all without abandoning Totem of Wrath and Thunderstorm. I think that Frozen Power has the potential to greatly increase both elemental and enhancement PvP utility, but only if elemental shamans are able to reach it easily.

The9 may release WotLK to China on February 19th {WoW}

Feb 12th 2009 6:59AM Seriously, people. Stop with the chinese gold farmers. That's just being racist. I remember an mmorpg (several actually) that started banning chinese IPs just because they were afraid of gold farming destroying the economy. That's just plain sad.

Remember that although there ARE many chinese gold farmers out there, there are more chinese players just like you out there that do not deserve to be put under this stereotype. In fact, there are westerners out there (like me) that play on chinese servers but use English WoW, and join English guilds. I seriously don't understand why people out there would hate China so much. The people here are nice, and they're just like your normal WoWer.

So don't be racist. Chinese people are good people and don't need this crap.
