Delve deeper into RIFT's Infernal Dawn raid with new details, screenshots {Massively}

Don't be too sure. Three of the other raids have mini two-man versions of the raids to give non-raiders a chance to see some of the raid content. Greenscale is one of the bosses you can fight.

Epic in scope: SWTOR's James Ohlen explains plans for the future {Massively}

Mar 13th 2012 3:22PM It's a shame they didn't hold out the release date until the game was ready to launch. People have been spoiled by the range and depth of MMOs available today, and had high expectations based on the game's pricetag. I'm sure the new patch will alleviate a lot of the existing problems, but many first-day subscribers have already soured on the incomplete experience and will never experience the changes.

On the bright side, it should lead to more realistic guidelines for BioWare's future MMOs of what their audience has come to expect.

(to be clear, I wish the game all the success in the world, as long as someone, somewhere is having fun with it)

Trek through fire and flame in RIFT's Infernal Dawn raid {Massively}

"But are the bones equal for all groups? "

Nope. Do they need to be?

We've got a dozen 5-man dungeons, both expert and some master modes, three 2-man dungeons, Instant Adventures for casual groups 2 - 20. we've got regular rifts, world event rifts, crafting rifts, PvP rifts and zone event rifts for casual grouping. For soloing they have a death saga, water saga and Ember Isle chain, each can take a week or so, depending on play time.

Is it equal? Not a clue. I dabble in everything, so I'm a pretty happy camper. I haven't raided yet, but since they've made 2-man mini-versions of most/all of the 10-20 man raids I'll probably get to see the new raid in one form or another.

They do. Ember Isle is a better implementation of dynamic content. The boss events are pretty lively, but they've also added onslaughts, where denizens of the rifts attack a focal point.

They do a pretty good job of throwing every group a bone.

Socialism =/= social activities.

Ironic that on an article about trying to improve clarity, you go off on completely unrelated tangents in the most incoherent way possible.

Kudos.

PUG = "Pick Up Group".

Maybe that's why you get downrated.

The Guild Counsel: New game, new guild, cold feet - now what? {Massively}

Mar 1st 2012 6:20PM I started a very small guild 6 months before SWTOR started, and abandoned it in January.

However, I made sure I passed ownership over to another active player before doing so, and didn't feel a need to post a "Why I'm leaving!!1!" rant. I don't care if the game is successful or not, but if my friends are enjoying themselves than I'm happy for them. I don't need to ruin the experience for others to justify my personal reasons for leaving.
