Yoko Ono regarding Beatles on iTunes: 'Don't hold your breath' {Engadget}

Aug 6th 2010 11:52AM @R2 D2
This. I wouldn't be surprised if the greedy little ... wants to sell the songs for more than $0.99 each, either. Yoko Ono - top notch waste of life.

NPD: Android is now top-selling OS in American smartphones {Engadget}

Aug 4th 2010 3:54PM @scoobydooby Considering how many phones droid is included on whereas most other phones have proprietary or manufacturer-specific operating systems, is this really an achievement?

Shifting Perspectives: Balance DoTs in Cataclysm {WoW}

Jul 30th 2010 8:12PM Just because DOTs aren't a major part of the balance druid's damage doesn't mean the druid itself isn't going to do decent damage. Don't forget both Insect Swarm and Starfire now work kind of like Death Knight diseases (improving our direct damage from our main nukes) via the Improved Insect Swarm Talent. Glyphs haven't been revised yet and we could see that sort of thing (or other DOT buffs) go into Glyphs.

Enter to win a Blazing Hippogryph and other loot {WoW}

Xbox 360 getting dashboard revision this November? {Engadget}

Jul 15th 2010 3:15PM @Rick Astley
And it looks more and more like it was designed for the 13 y/o japanese kids who always kick my ass.

CE-oh no he didn't!: Microsoft's Kevin Turner says iPhone 4 might be Apple's Vista {Engadget}

Jul 14th 2010 1:54PM @rjc34
At least he didn't call it "Apple's Windows ME". Vista was a collection of good concepts poorly implemented. Windows ME was just bad, bad, bad.

Senators grill FCC Chairman over 'modest' National Broadband Plan goals {Engadget}

Jul 12th 2010 2:47PM @InspectorEngadget
The National Broadband Plan does not intend to socialize internet access. Providers like AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, and Cablevision will still exist and we'll still be paying them, but the government will be taking steps to make sure service is available to everyone in the U.S. and that certain standards are met. This is similar to the government's involvement in our electrical grid and access to television.

See this page for more info (scroll down to "The Plan"):

ArkHippo: at last, a cure for your iPhone's portability {Engadget}

Jul 12th 2010 1:21PM @MikeGSY I think you're missing the point. What I got out of the video (on mute) is that if you have a hot Asian girlfriend who carelessly tosses your phone across the room when she's done, this is the case for you.

What happened to the white iPhone 4? {Engadget}

Jun 23rd 2010 1:28PM I suspect that it's just a matter of logistics. It's probably a lot easier to deliver a lot of black iPhones than it is to try to fill orders for both black and white in the same quantity.

MSI replacing BIOS with UEFI firmware interface sometime this year? {Engadget}

Jun 9th 2010 1:42PM @TheTabe That interface is actually in use right now, but hopefully as EFI becomes more popular we'll see better looking EFI UIs.
