Apr 13th 2011 2:21PM I may be mistaken, but didn't they remove LP leveling in favor of just letting it scale with your character's level like weapon skill? I think it's crap they did that as I remember farming boxes and hitting the stationary boxes scattered around zones in Vanilla and TBC to level mine.
Apr 8th 2011 4:14PM With the Combat Rogue spec being more reliant on weapon damage (compared to Assassination's poison damage) I'd venture to say its ok for.them too. Certainly there are better, but for non raiders its not bad. The badge buy one, Fluid Death, is hot.

Mar 20th 2011 12:44PM From my experience (raid leading a 25 man team from WotLK into Cata) you're not alone. We also made it through to Cata raiding intact and got 10/12 pretty quickly. We've slowly lost people to real life or burnout and can not seem to beg, borrow, or steal a recruit. Everyone wants to run tens and not deal with the issues that come with full twentyfive man raiding teams.
Mar 18th 2011 9:28AM Heh... I actually did this. My wife started labor for our third child while the raid and I were working on H-LK last October. I just said on vent, "gotta run, folks -- baby is coming" and hearthed.
I think the best we had was back during bear runs in ZA one of our pally tanks had informed us some bad weather was coming through his area. I don't remember where we were in the instance, but he just said over vent, "tornado is here... gotta move". He picked up his laptop and played from his basement/shelter area while a tornado blew through his town.
Mar 7th 2011 11:25AM I'm a bit late to the computerized mmorpg world... WoW is the only one I've ever played. I didn't even start playing until a few months before TBC was released. That being said, I have played some rpg games on consoles... my favorite being Fabled.
I really liked the inclusion of standard rpg stuff (leveling, gearing, etc) with action choices that really shaped your character. Should I kill these harpies, or let them live? Should I kill and loot this random npc? Will general populace like or fear me because of it? Yeah, reputations are a larger scale of this concept, but not quite the same.
I'd love to see WoW integrate more choice --> effect components into the game. Understandably it's hard given the mmo nature of the game and the need for world events to be consistent for everyone. Much easier to do on an offline console game. But if they could do it without resorting to some cheesy phased mechanic I'd be stoked.

Jan 5th 2011 11:19AM I don't totally disagree with you considering purchasing the raw uncommon gems for the daily can be up to 450g on my server (Hyjal-US). However, if JC got skill ups from a daily then every one that wasn't a JC would want a daily that gave their professions skill ups.
It's one thing when the secondary professions like Fishing do it... but to only give one primary profession a skill-up daily would be unfair.
