Apr 4th 2010 12:06AM I would love to go to be able to expand my MMO horizons, learn about ones i've never played, without having to spend hours downloading every single one, especially since my computer is old and can't handle the graphics demands of many MMO's *coughAioncough*.
Jan 14th 2010 11:10PM As a DPS'er to the core, I can't stand all the idiots who give us a bad name. But at the same time, threat is both the responsibility of the tank AND the dps. Yes, it is the responsibility of the dps to keep an eye on their threat, and not pull aggro. But on a basic level, the dps HAVE to be able to expect that the tank can put out a reasonable amount of threat for the encounter/their gear. On a basic 3/4 mob trash pull, with an obvious choice for a main target (Runecaster in Utgarde/Spell Flinger in Old Kingdom, etc), if I give the tank a solid 4-6 seconds to establish aggro, and can see the TC/SW or equivalent abilities go off, I expect to be able to do my job on the mob, and be able to use my basic rotation to kill it. It sound simple, but oh my god there's so many times where the above happens, and i've got 95% threat on the mob just after my opening 3 spells!
So when it comes down to it, quit the blame game. It's an equal-opportunity-chances-mess-up place out there in LFGworld. Do your damn job(this goes for tank/heal/dps), and we'll all get our badges and be able to go back to spamming anal in trade chat.
Jan 13th 2010 3:23PM So this is just Guildwatch without the good part. Check. Guild recruitment is everywhere, and guild rankings only matter for those who view WoW as some kind of nerdy competitive sport. The laughs garnered from the drama section were priceless, and I think removing them is a big mistake. On behalf of what I'm sure is many people, please, bring back the original Guildwatch, I miss it already.
Oct 21st 2009 11:10PM We don't need to hate on that which is inferior to us. Deep down, all mages know they shoulda rolled a lock.
Jul 21st 2009 10:54PM I'm sorry, but when it comes to the Mage gear, no one wins. For gods' sake, it looks like plate. Spikes? Hard Edges? No no no no no. I want style. I want grace. And above all, I want something that looks like I could move in it! Can you honestly tell me that a scrawny, book-worming mage could move around in that get-up, much less cast spells?
Heck, I know I'm probably in the minority here, but for once I'd like an armor set that isn't as blatantly Compensation Gear as most of the weapons in the game. Something simple, stylish, but that says "I'm a cute girl in a dress. And I'm the last thing on this entire planet you want standing in front of you right now. You have 3 seconds to start running." Now that's what I want in my caster gear.
Feb 27th 2009 9:57PM Interesting. I wonder if its any coincidence that 32 is the current largest count soul bag. Yeah, if we're only having to drain one, maybe two mobs, that would compensate. Alright, you've got me convinced that at least there's more to it than it looks right now. Thanks. That actually helped me feel a little better tonight.
Feb 27th 2009 9:17PM Really Blizzard? Capping Soul Shards?
You know what, just Go To Hell. Seriously, whoever came up with this full frontal b****slap can DIAF.
