Arcane Brilliance: Macros for mages {WoW}

Mar 27th 2010 7:51PM since when are trinkets 16 and 17? last i checked they were 13 and 14. may want to double check, find out im right, and fix your post archmage pants.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Upcoming profession changes {WoW}

Feb 21st 2010 4:38AM actually, making the bags now would be amazingly unprofitable. the cd was put into place so the market doesnt get flooded with 22 slotters. the cd on those cloths + the annoying travel to make them being removed ultimately means the extravagant prices on the specialty cloths will drop to the price of the mats give or take, noting the mats are gonna drop aswell considering frozen orbs can trade for eternals.

essentially, i see these things selling for the price frostweave bags use to sell for a few months ago, 100-150g. current value of mats is in excess of 400g depending on your realms current market.

[Updated] Realm Status: All realms to be online by 10:30pm EDT {WoW}

Sep 1st 2009 5:19PM may it also be noted, that all the realms on the list were ones reported for sql table updates to fix the additional instances cannot be launched garbage. i have a feeling, some nerd input the data in the wrong table and they are having to restore and start over on backups from earlier on today.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage changes on the patch 3.2.2 PTR {WoW}

Aug 16th 2009 1:21PM judging by the looks of it, that 130% is just repeatedly added per blast since its only increasing about 279-280 per cast for you. tricky wording on blizzards part but i was still correct about it being an increase.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage changes on the patch 3.2.2 PTR {WoW}

Aug 16th 2009 1:13PM it clearly states 130% increase. not a 30% increase. stop arguing an invalid point. i win, you lose. good day sir.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage changes on the patch 3.2.2 PTR {WoW}

Aug 16th 2009 1:07PM so if it said increases by 30%, youd multiply by 0.3 and leave the number as is? once again, you fail.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage changes on the patch 3.2.2 PTR {WoW}

Aug 16th 2009 12:56PM and you sir, dont know how to do math. im increasing it by 130%. you need to add that 130 to the original cost. it is an INCREASE afterall.

Arcane Brilliance: Mage changes on the patch 3.2.2 PTR {WoW}

Aug 16th 2009 12:43PM i think your math is off by a bit. it should be increasing by 130%. pretty sure you multiplied by 1.3 and figured it was the right number ;p

this is what i came up with *i didnt round because im lazy*
0 stacks 229
1 stack 526.7
2 stacks 1211.41
3 stacks 2786.243
4 stacks 6408.3589

taking that into consideration, getting upto 4 stacks takes 4753.353 (round as you see fit). and any concurrent after is just ridiculous. i also did the math on the current blast rotation to find we arent saving mana at all. 3x at current is 2977 mana tossed around like confetti with an unhappy 6183 per blast after full stack. even the missle proc is just a way to dull the pain of the extra blast cost. so barrage-ers rejoice, you get to keep your spent talent.

also, someone should check to see if you get penalised the % cost after reaching a full stack. that 6k+ mana drain doesnt sound right at all to me. i think it stops at 2786(new) 2061(old). either way, thats still quite a bit more mana on the new than the old to keep it sustained.

Saturday's in-game fixes: Threeve {WoW}

Apr 25th 2009 3:54PM may it also be noted, ive submitted several bugs that i havent even seen others touch on and blizzard has yet to recognise or fix them. all i get is an email asking me to rate their customer service when ive recieved none. most frustrating of these is the blatant retardation of the statistics. all deaths are counting towards 5 person instance deaths now. that includes world deaths, player deaths, bg deaths, raid deaths... all of them are being counted towards 5 person instances.
