The last gasp of 25-man raiding {WoW}

Feb 24th 2012 3:16PM "And if you're going through the struggle of getting 25 people to work together, what you get out of that experience should be a greater reward than getting 10 people together, because it is far more difficult to pull together and work with 25 unique personalities than 10."
From that line and from other inferences in your post, it seems to me your saying 25 man raids should get more because its harder to get 25 people online. I couldn't disagree more.

If there is going to be a significant differance in 10 and 25, blizzard needs to do a much better job of balancing them against each other, as well as against the content. Personally i think they should drop it to 10 and 20 man raids. Fight requires 2 tanks on 10 man, then it requires 4 on 20 man. They are not balanced against each other when 10 man needs 2 tanks 3 heals, and 25 man needs 2 tanks 5 heals. I wont even get into personal responsibility in them..... 1 dps dead 2 mins in on a 10 man is a wipe, on 25, you lose 2-4 and its still winnable.

Bottom line would be i agree with you, in that they need to do something, and im not sure what

Patch 3.2.2 sees stealthed Hunter nerfs {WoW}

Sep 25th 2009 4:36PM Between the loss of 8 seconds on BW, and the loss of killshot at melee range, hunters are once again the easy kill in pvp. And although i havent checked the numbers myself, i've read repeatedly that the change to bw/tbw is resulting in a whopping 1-2% damage increase in pve for Bm hunters. Still incredibly subpar compared to MM/SV. They just took the utility pvp spec and turned it into.... nothing.

Loot, rationality, and the Sunwell effect, part II {WoW}

Apr 24th 2009 12:25PM Cant really add much that hasnt been said. my 2 cents is.... the added difficulty of 25 mans is in organizing 25 people. Chances are if your bringing 25 you'll have a good representation of every class, or close to it. 10 mans require a much harder to achieve group balance. And the obligatory '1 man can make or break a boss kill'... I prefer 10's for this reason. i like feeling that its important for me to stay in the fight and do it right, and that my failure to do so has consequences.

As to the loot disparity, i think blizz screwed over the 10 mans with the ulduar emblems. They did show forethought by not making the gear available so that people couldn't gather hundreds of tokens and gear up day 1. But would it really have been that hard to make a new token for the 10 man Ulduar as well as the 25 man? They got the question absolutely right, but there answer was still wrong.....

As to the future of 25 mans, they'll keep coming. Because everyone knows, if the difference between naxx 10 and 25 gear was 2 iLvl's, just as many 25's would run as are running now. You could make naxx 25 drop the exact same gear as naxx 10 with a +2 bonus to each stat, and the people would keep running them for their uber version's of the gear.

Gimme a 10 man run with 9 people i have fun playing with over a 25 man with..... 9 people i have fun playing with and 15 others any day

Insider Trader: Who keeps the shards? {WoW}

Mar 7th 2009 2:26PM I too am sick of seeing this on WI. If enchanters wanna keep complaining about this, then by all means, redesign enchanting so that Disenchanting is a seperate skill. Enchantings gathering skill is built into it. Every other tradeskill has to use a proffesion slot for their gathering. If it is this huge of an issue, either enchanters need disenchanting seperately, or LW, BS's, Inscriptionists, Alchemists, and Jc'ers need to get their gather of items free with their tradeskill also. Personally ive never seen this even happen, so it sounds to me like the enchanting proffesion as a whole has just gotten their QQ thread up to 50 Pages......

Officers' Quarters: Dual spec, double loot? {WoW}

Feb 16th 2009 1:17PM I tend to want to award boss loot on what spec you were for that fight. That solves most of the dps classes issues, but it opens the floodgates for the oftank who you didnt need for that fight, so he went arms, not having a chance at that uber plate tanking chest that dropped. I guess Healers and Tanks will still have to be a Main spec/offspec issue, and dps gear awarded for your spec in the battle. If you have mature non-loot hording players it shouldnt be to bad. But Mr Druids, were watching you..... switching between boomkin and kitties for more gear will result in rogues finding you while you sleep
