Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Updated patch notes {WoW}

Mar 11th 2010 4:19PM Warriors are the weakest class in PvP atm. Each class has its own defining ability that make it unique in pvp. Hunters get double deterrence and disengage, DK's will have uncleansable diseases, AMS, DG, pally's get bubbles or instant full heal, rogues have vanish, cloak, killing spree, etc. What do warriors have in pvp that another class cant come in and do better? Mortal Strike, get a hunter for that. The warriors mobility? Easily countered by disengaging hunters, dg from a dk, blink and frost nova from a mage. With a bladestorm, an arms warriors defining skill becoming useless, there is no reason to have a warrior in arenas over other classes.

Patch 3.3.3 PTR: Updated patch notes {WoW}

Mar 11th 2010 10:14AM Bladestorm has a 1.5 minute cooldown. Both warriors and rogues have a disarm with a 1 min cooldown. Which means that every bladestorm can be disarmed, leaving the warrior with no damage dealing cooldown. This nerf will destroy any viability of a warrior in arenas. Prot was viable in arenas and immediately got nerfed. Now TSG is the flavor of the month and they nerf warriors? While DKs get a HUGE buff by getting uncleansable diseases. Where is the counter to those diseases?

Dual specs at low levels {WoW}

Feb 16th 2009 5:20PM "if a player uses only one spec for 80 levels and then gets the dual spec feature, he/she may not have enough experience with different specs to have any clue about how to choose another one."

First, having the option to have a new spec at 80 is not going to be very difficult for the average player to cope with. By the time a player is 80 they should have rudimentary knowledge of how each spec/role plays. Back in BC I leveled by first character, a warrior, to 70 as fury, and then dove into tanking for the first time in heriocs. It was not very difficult to adjust to the different spec.

Second, during leveling the first 5-6 respecs are relatively cheap, so the need to have free spec changing is not really present. It only becomes necessary at level 80 where you might need to respec 2-3 times a week at 50g a pop.

So I agree with having dual-spec limited to level 80.
