Breakfast Topic: Were you impressed with the Mists of Pandaria press event? {WoW}

Mar 23rd 2012 8:47AM Underwhelmed by press event, still looking fwd to the xpac. Was expecting a blizzcon sized bumper pack of info, instead got a dozen articles, some of which weren't long enough for an "after the break" section. ("Yes you get an 11th character slot"). What it did give was more detail on particular zones and dungeons, as opposed to new features. Padding aside, the info on features could have been bullet pointed on one side of paper, and distributed through the normal channels.

The Queue: Written pandaren {WoW}

Mar 20th 2012 1:35PM In the new Blizz post "A Night in MOP" http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/blog/3889809/A_Night_in_Mists_of_Pandaria-19_03_2012#blog
it mentions "I’ll probably want to hit the new Proving Grounds. They’re like lored-up solo instances that make trying out my rotations a lot more fun since I can chase achievements."

Got the scoop on these? Can't find anything anywhere, other than the Tolvir Proving Grounds Arena, which doesn't fit.

Sounds promising - why don't we know more?

Hi, remember me? I've been here since 2004 {WoW}

Mar 9th 2012 1:37PM you're thinking about it the wrong way. Rewards are there to get you to sign up for a long time. If you're already signed up for a long time anyway, what is the point of someone giving you a reward?

Scroll of Resurrection revamp active, includes free level 80 character {WoW}

Mar 6th 2012 7:26PM "I just accepted a Scroll of Resurrection. How do I level boost my character?

Log in to your Battle.net Account and click on the resurrected license. Once you’re on the Game Management page, click Claim Rewards and select the character to level along with their spec." if you never claim the reward you won't be FORCED to take it.

Mar 6th 2012 7:24PM from the official site you have to have been inactive since at least March 4, no good quitting now! Fortunately I've been on a break so will be offering myself as a target for scrolls.

The Queue: I'm on the bus {WoW}

Feb 25th 2012 11:10PM not always practical, but if say running a dungeon solo, then don't loot anything till the end. I don't know the exact details/timings but mobs with better coloured loot vanish later; leave it long enough and you just have mobs with purples on them.

Breakfast Topic: Do you PvP to win or to make the enemy lose? {WoW}

Dec 24th 2011 10:26AM sounds like you just like to play defence/defense. Nothing wrong or spiteful about that; would be much easier to win if every team had some players on defence/se.

WoW Rookie: How to gear up for Raid Finder {WoW}

Dec 8th 2011 8:38PM interesting...and kinda answers my question in the next post! hadn't even looked at JP rewards!

WoW Rookie: How to gear up for Raid Finder {WoW}

Dec 8th 2011 8:35PM just the article I need. But I'm still not high enough ilvl to get into the troll dungeons! (Main has been taking a long rest while several alts level)

Is it a straightforward:
-original Cata heroics
-troll heroics
-new 4.3 dungeons
-raid finder
progression, with the odd Valor point freebie thrown in?

Breakfast Topic: Do you enjoy soloing instances and raids? {WoW}

May 31st 2011 8:11AM definitely. I'm a child of WOTLK, so bar any pug vanilla and BC raids, it's the best way to see old content. Soloing older 5mans can be good as well as you can take your time and properly understand the mechanics.
