WRUP: A bunch of cool cats {WoW}

Mar 31st 2012 11:34AM If I have time, before the Final Four starts, I will play some more X-Com UFO Defense. I just can't stop playing it. On Sunday, I might re-activate my WoW subscription through the Scroll of Resurrection. Reading all of this MOP news has rekindled my interest in WOW.

Ask your Scroll of Resurrection questions {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 10:48AM I have a question that I didn't see in the FAQ if it was there. Does your account have to be active for a certain length of time before you can send out a scroll? I know the account receiving the scroll must have been inactive before March 4, but didn't see anything about the account sending it having to be active before March 4.

I have two accounts, one has been inactive for 10 months and the other for 15 months. With all the MOP news, I am starting to get the itch to play again, so if I activate my main account, can I then go and send my secondary account the scroll as long as I paid for 30 days on my main account?

Also, I see where this is good for 90 days, does anyone have an idea when the 90 days is up?
Thanks.

Breakfast Topic: What keeps you playing? {WoW}

May 23rd 2011 11:16AM Alts are what keep me playing. I don't raid and I run very few dungeons but I really enjoy the questing and leveling of new characters. I enjoy going out into the world of Azeroth and seeing what it has to offer. It's not that I don't enjoy dungeons, raids etc, I just usually only get to play for an hour or two at a time so it becomes difficult to join a group for those things.

After numerous toons over 2 different accounts I still have not seen everything. I will still find quests that I missed or little bits of lore laying around that catch my attention. I still have alot to do because I have yet to roll Horde and have been playing since the end of vanilla WoW. Horde alone should keep me busy for quite some time.

I also enjoy the professions. I know they are not perfect and could be better implemented but I enjoy going and getting my mats and making something out of them.

I enjoy the Holidays events. Each holiday I try to take one character and do everything the holiday has to offer.

To me the game has always been about the little things. I am not going to have all the new shinny gear but I am ok with that. I enjoy playing just for the sake of playing.

Breakfast Topic: What's the one class you just can't stand? {WoW}

May 20th 2011 10:07AM The one class I just can't get into is Death Knights. I think the reason I don't like them is because they start out at level 58. I love to level. When I start a character out at level 1 I get a better feel for them. I enjoy all the early learning that goes on. When I start a DK it almost feels like I am playing a "used" character that someone else already leveled.

The Queue: Jeffery {WoW}

May 11th 2011 11:33AM I enjoy some of the vendor junk. It gives more character to the game. In fact, there are pieces of it in my bank that I just found interesting and had to keep.

Win a WoW TCG War of the Elements Epic Collection from WoW Insider {WoW}

May 10th 2011 10:34AM I would like free cards.

Blood Pact: Leveling a warlock from 1 to 60, page 2 {WoW}

May 9th 2011 4:37PM Excellent read. I just decided to start leveling my Warlock again, he has been stuck at 37 for over a year. I had planned on going Affliction but just might have to give Desto a try.

Totem Talk: Tier 12 through an enhancement shaman's eyes {WoW}

May 7th 2011 7:12PM I agree. There has not been an elemental column in over a month.

The Queue: Hey it's Thursday, and that's awesome {WoW}

May 5th 2011 11:35AM Good points. I imagine it would be an animation nightmare. One can hope anyways.

May 5th 2011 11:16AM I agree with you. I would love to see something along the lines of a morningstar or other chain like weapon.
