Typhoon Struggle claims world first strict 10-man heroic Lich King kill {WoW}

Aug 12th 2010 6:01AM I'm not only refering to the tuning though, the buff set, the class diversity, there's a lot that simply having 15 extra people gives you.
You basically have two choices in ten, especially on LK, you gimp your DPS to cover specific buffs, or you lose specific buffs. Not to mention, at most, two battle resses vs 3-5, and simply not needing to worry so much about a single person dying.
25 mans are hard, and I know Naxx was one of the only raids to be tuned wrong, but still, you get more leeway.

Aug 12th 2010 5:55AM So, are you saying you can down him without the buff, or in any 25man gear? Including ilevel 277s, and 264s, and 258s?
Yeah, it would be better if you could do it on 25s, but still qualify. That's what "A Tribute to Dedicated Insanity" was all about, only difference here is the acheivement isn't ingame, and as GuildOx can't prove what people wore, they can only go by who's killed what.

Aug 11th 2010 11:42PM Big congrats to them!

I've always maintained that the only thing that made 25man raids harder was organising 15 more people, the fact that Blizz has admitted to tuning the 25man release content wrong and making it easier than 10man goes a long way in proving it.

WoW Moviewatch: Don't Trust a Rogue {WoW}

Jan 13th 2010 12:40PM Love it. An improvement on the original song, well made machinima. Overall, one of the best WoW parodies I've seen.

As an added bonus, depending on your views of Belf females, they haven't changed the base message of the song either!

Drama Mamas: Dungeon Finder loot advice {WoW}

Jan 8th 2010 9:35AM Pass on the roll? F* that! Everyone would roll on any other BoE that drops, why should the hilt be any different? Everyone contributes equally, everyone should have equal right to need on BoE drops. Regardless of what anyone says, people do whatever they want in RDFG's, so when they'll gladly need roll on the orb after everyone else greeds, or needs on the epic to guarantee a shard, why should anyone agree to pass on anything?

About offspec rolls, speaking from experience, I go with the flow. Prot/Ret dual specced pally passing on DPS upgrades for the DPS warrior in group, said DPS Warrior should be kind enough to pass on tanking gear if the Pally wants it. If they're not, then take the offspec upgrades. It's that simple. If the issue doesn't come up, make your decision. It's a dog eat dog world, you lose mainspec upgrades to offspec rolls often enough, you don't care either way.

People look out for themselves and themselves only, so what's so bad about doing it yourself?

Use brute force, Luke {WoW}

Dec 24th 2009 6:32AM I was referring to the section just before Mal'Ganis that you can go through as quickly as you like, most tanks I've run with will run about halfway, stop and get aggro on the mobs, then move again. The one I was talking about simply ran through and face pulled them all, one heal, and he lost aggro.

About the zombies, they shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Between waves, and even on the trash, most classes have an aoe spell of some sort that can kill them no problem. Depending on the tank, I can hit holy nova during boss fights to get them off me, if I can't, I run into melee range and let someone else aoe them.
