Feb 17th 2010 6:30PM I'm currently doing 3v3 consisting of Disc (Me) / Rogue / DK, and we are struggling more than we ever have compared to the previous season.
All the matches I have been seeing have been 2 melee plate and a healer namely a holy paly.
The problem is that once the rogue breaks into combat, he is instantly switched and burst down, over my healing capability, so its pretty much killed our composition.
In saying that I'm keen to try the double shadow/affliction/healer team (Possibly Druid), if I our current team cannot get off the ground
Feb 17th 2010 6:07PM As a off-spec Prot Warrior who does heroics as the said spec to jump the queue, I have come to the conclusion that there is to much downtime between our 2 big hitting aoe abilities.
Situations that come to mind are, additional trash being pulled whilst fighting others, when your Challenging Shout is down and all other aoe abilities are on cool down, and they run right past you straight at the healer, barring one if you managed to get the taunt off.
Now there are 2 things that can happen.
Give Revenge and aoe effect of some kind, Lash sounds good. This makes for a good ability to buff as it doesn't get used by any other spec to my knowledge apart from tanking. Or even more using Revenge can remove the current cooldown of Shock wave whatever...
Second thing and probably more impacting on the other specs and pvp is buff Cleave. Ie Swipe like effect and lower rage component, but I cannot foresee this seeing the light of day...
Feb 15th 2010 7:10PM I don't get it, I think people have taken the 'tipping' to far by using it as a means to generate income in some sort of optional passive aggressive manner then get all uppity when tips aren't given.
*** Correct me if I'm wrong... outsiders perspective
Isn't tipping used by the Hospitality Industry? And for reasons beyond me ...minimum wage is so low that Tips are heavily relied on for living purposes?
Back to the Game...
All professions are a 'trade' (i.e. electrician, plumber), person x employ's tradesman/women to perform a service, which comes at a cost for the use of their years of training and skills to meet the needs of the customer.
Payment for services rendered, which the various terms are agreed by both parties, and if you don't like it find someone else.
Feb 15th 2010 5:14PM US Silver Hand - Has probably the best setup leftoversraiding.org to the archaic guild system, where people are encouraged to remain in their guilds, yet can raid under a charter system.
