We need to manage our expectations about Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2012 8:20PM I see the bar was set really low for this article.

World of Warcraft subscriber numbers dip 100,000 to 10.2 million {WoW}

Feb 10th 2012 1:45AM Expect sub numbers to go higher when MoP launches. Also remember that subs aren't just US and EU. MoP will be widely popular in Asia and add a lot of new and returning subs. In Asia they are also behind our schedule in the US and EU so expect a fall before a rise when they get to the doldrums of cleared endgame and waiting for new xpac to come out.
I would be curious to know what the subs are for just the US and EU and what that decline was.

Blue Posts: Dissertations on MoP's existence and the future of raiding {WoW}

Feb 4th 2012 12:14AM That makes no sense, especially since the war between the Alliance and the Horde is heating up in MoP. Garrosh is very aggressive and a perfect war time faction leader.

I will put money down that there will be no faction leaders as "baddies". Too predictable and goes against what Zarhym said in his post.

Feb 4th 2012 12:11AM People are complaining as they don't like change and see this is a dumbing down of WoW.
In fact, it isn't a dumbing down of WoW as you can do a lot more with the new setup and it takes trial and error to figure out which talent works best for whichever scenario you are experiencing at that time. You can do more with them and you get a lot more out of it than the 31 point system.

People also seem to not understand that they aren't losing all the passive talents in the 31 talent system. They just come automatically, instead of clicking a box each level.
I guess people love clicking boxes and will miss clicking that box.

The new talent system is far better than the 31 point system and you can do a lot more with it, even if it looks a lot simpler. It's not.

The Queue: Short but sweet {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2012 2:20PM Even with you saying that this Queue is on the light side, it is still far more than Holisky ever does, even on a good day. Kudos to you, sir!!! I always enjoy when it is your turn to do the Queue.

Blue Posts and Other WoW News: Characters being dark in the armory means nothing {WoW}

Jan 20th 2012 3:21AM I just want to say that the Dance Studio was a dumb idea.
The amount of server assets it would take to run the dance studio as well as remember who knows what dance as well as storing new dances aren't worth learning a new dance step. Better fight/spell animations are definitely cooler.
I'm happy they didn't do it and concentrated on doing other things and "dance studio" has become a great metaphor and has taken on a life of its own.

Jan 16th 2012 3:20PM Q for the everlasting Queue.

Which x-pac do you feel did the most for us, in terms of lore. Obviously the game release and the preceding Warcraft titles laid down a lot of groundwork and the foundation of the Warcraft universe. Warcraft-iverse, if you will. So, which expansion pack since the original release of World of Warcraft gave us the healthiest dose of lore that made the most sense or really helped to push the game forward.
