Apr 30th 2009 3:37PM "In the end I wouldn't expect any such sweeping changes anytime soon. We already have a lot of classes in World of Warcraft who can do more than one role in a group, it's possible that's all we need."
I sure hope not......The ideas expressed in the article only further ruin the game form its previous vanilla glory. Hybrids used to be amazing as they once brought raid utility while sill doing comparative dps. Now there are very few buffs that are unique, and no real thought or effort has to go into forming a raid.
Playing a shaman I used to love the fact that my totems would buff those around me. Now I might as well take the off my hotkeys with all this class homoginization BS. It would only get worse if every class could fill every role.
Apr 3rd 2009 7:33PM You have some really odd preferences imo. However, you did touch on many of the useful aspects of the addon. reat Vid :)
Apr 1st 2009 1:53AM You're logic is completely flawed. I'm sure this is has been said many time before but.....25>>10 man, in time, effort, difficulty and rewards, with the soul exception of Sarth 3D on 10 man. Just look at the number of people that have the Immortal to those that have Undying.
I've seen alot of responses that say that both 25 and 10 man versions are of equal difficultly and deserve equal loot. Then why aren't you just arguing for more difficult 5 man encounters, or for that matter, "really" difficult solo encounters that all offer the same level of gear? There's a reason for the 25 man having better loot, its harder to put together/organize and run successfully. I think most people are in a big cafufle over this because naxx is puggable on both versions. Think about it was kara.
So to all you 10 man wanna be raiders out there.....
Suck it up an L2Raid or stop with all the QQ
Mar 17th 2009 5:36PM Some achievements are optional and pretty much pointless. (No one cares how many mounts you have or how many fish you caught) Three Drake Sarth on the other hand........is different. Currently "hard made" achievements are the only way those of us who can actually play this game can distinguish ourselves from those who can't.
Mar 11th 2009 4:59PM Well I guess I should just remove all my totems from my action bars and just put heroism into their slots.
Feb 19th 2009 12:32AM The DK certainly doesn't make SoE pointless. If you are a raiding enh shaman you should be speccing into imp SoE, which is better then his horn.
I agree that the fact that it wipes the DKs horn buff off a player is a problem. The Dk just has to be smart/aware enough to pop the horn again if he leaves the range of your totem.
But in all imp SoE is still superior. However I do miss having a ton of unique buffs to pass out.
