Apr 13th 2009 11:29PM ptr JUST went down. Not sure if it is a restart/shutdown, but away it goes!
Apr 13th 2009 10:03PM Extended maintenance beginning at 3am for all servers, 1am for some of them
Apr 13th 2009 4:38PM I got the screenshot, that clearly wasn't me.
Apr 13th 2009 3:53PM it makes sense.
If they release it on the 21st here is what happens... TOO MUCH TO DO:
Spend your Arena Points
It just piles up to too much to do at once, which they don't want.
The 14th seems much more reasonable.

(Europe - 15th, US-14th). This guarantees it will be here tomorrow.
Apr 13th 2009 11:00AM What a terrible idea.
Hey guys, lets allow 25 people to have to wait on the same item to drop! And hey, lets make it require 30/40 shards that have a 33% droprate chance off of hardmodes!
Apr 12th 2009 9:11PM good+resto shammy in the same sentence? ooookk
Apr 12th 2009 7:13PM Honestly, the guilds that members will GQUIT over the mace probably will never see the mace completed. The legendary will only be obtainable by heavy hardcore raiding guilds. Just to complete the quest (after you get the fragments), you have to do Yoggy hardmode, which will NOT be easy.
People are acting as if the mace will drop like candy, and that more than one person will see it. Face the facts, chances of a guild getting more than 1-2 is slim, let alone you have to be in a hardcore raiding guild to even see it.
Apr 12th 2009 7:09PM I love how everyone is so concerned about the PROC itself. The *legendary* aspect of it isn't based around the proc itself, but the fact that the STATS on the actual mace is far superior to any other purple available in-game. That being said, any of the healers should be able to actually have this mace. You shouldn't default it to a priest or a pally just because the proc might be more useful. What if the resto druid is a better healer? Does it still get defaulted to the priest/pally?
Give it to someone who will actually use it the most. The person who is always there, and always outshines other healers. Give it to the person who puts in the most effort and time to the guild, not to the pally/priest who shows up to every raid and does nothing else.
Don't focus just on the proc chance, look at the weapon as a whole.
That being said, the GM of my guild gets dibs on it first :P
