How I learned to stop worrying and love level 70 {WoW}

Apr 20th 2011 6:09PM Strange that you should post about this, for the past few weeks I've been playing my Warrior that I locked at 70. It's been a bit of a side-project for months, running myself through Kara/ZA with my Paladin that's on my other account. It's a fun little side-game, I just wish I had other people who'd consider joining me in doing it. Would be much more fun that way.

Breakfast Topic: Do you prefer to be the off tank? {WoW}

Sep 19th 2010 8:17AM 'Off tank' is an out dated term/mindset that isn't really used inside the tanking community any more. You have one tank, you have two tanks, co-tanks if you will. Considerate, professional tanks share the different tanking roles on each boss. Most of the time, the non-boss tanking roles are the more fun, more challenging parts to play anyway.

Blizzard releases official Gnomeregan and Echo Isles Cataclysm information {WoW}

Mar 17th 2010 2:21PM So looking forward to this. Gnomes are just so adorable.

The Queue: Little things {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 3:07PM Is the Stormrage book really that bad? I was looking forward to picking it up when I can afford more luxuries then WoW itself. Malfurion is my favorite lore character...

Breakfast Topic: Fear is the mind-killer {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 9:53AM This happened on my Prot Pally, I was the only one on the correct side of the wall. I almost solo'd the first group. It was quite amusing.

Breakfast Topic: Fear is the mind-killer {WoW}

Mar 16th 2010 9:27AM For those of you complaining about the 'corner', you have only yourselves and your DPS/Healer kin to blame. On the PTR for 3.3 I tanked HOR out in the open just fine. No problems. When it came to live, random heroic players showed me they lacked the awareness to cope with doing it like that. It does not occur to the 'average' player to MD a ranged mob to me, or to disarm the riflemen so they move in to my melee range. It does not seem apparent to them that a spell named 'dark mending' is probably going to be a heal and should be interrupted. Hell, it doesn't occur to them that a priest should probably take kill priority over a footman. Vanish-Cheapshotting or gouging a Mage is out of the question. Tricks is a waste of time. Hey, I didn't even know Paladins had a spell called Turn Evil! What's healing aggro? What do you mean, don't attack the mobs that the tank hasn't hit yet?

When faced with trying to explain these concepts to people who will probably just respond with "???", I'd rather just remove the burden of responsibility from them. Deal with it like I have to deal with them.

Reminder: Love is in the Air ends tonight {WoW}

Feb 20th 2010 2:23PM Thank goodness. Maybe I'll be able to stay in ironforge without some tosser pukeing all over my character every 2 seconds. Maybe people will shut up about bloody bracelets and how 'OMG ITS SUCH A RIP OFF' that somebody has the businesses sense to sell the damn things. Maybe Troll Rogues will finally be free to show face in public again. I for one can't wait.

In-game fixes for February 3rd {WoW}

Feb 4th 2010 12:14AM Using Saronite bombs on Cooldown, along with the other engineering benefits, makes Engineering provide a greater DPS boost then any other profession. That literaly means a bomb on every cooldown though, throughout the fight, on every attempt else Engineering actually provides less benefit than the other professions.

WoW Moviewatch: Altaholic {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2010 12:08PM Cute, but I don't think it will measure up to the masterpiece of fuzzy Australian half-singing that is the Neilyo Song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1I70yXYofY

Probably only funny if you know who Neilyo is.

WRUP: Not in Azeroth edition {WoW}

Jan 30th 2010 11:44PM Wups. This was actually supposed to be a reply to a comment addressed to me on P1, But apparently my comment-fu has backfired, landing it here.
