Encrypted Text: Rogue tips and tricks for Firelands, part 3 {WoW}

Aug 10th 2011 3:47PM Random FL trash question;

Is there anything for us to do on the turtles? Me and the other rogue just kinda sit in the corner and let ranged do their thing and try not to get punted around too much...

Patch 4.2 brings quality-of-life changes for jewelcrafting {WoW}

May 19th 2011 8:15PM I really dont think we'll see epic gems in only the second raiding tier, they werent released with SSC/TKE and they werent released with Ulduar.

But having cut gems stack, that is an awesome change, i woulda loved that back in wrath when i was heavy into the gem market.

The OverAchiever: New achievements in patch 4.2 {WoW}

May 19th 2011 4:25PM Ooh, just pre 4.1. I dont know why i was thinking an achievement for back in the day at level...

The OverAchiever: New achievements in patch 4.2 {WoW}

May 19th 2011 3:02PM There is probably no way for them to do that, considering any achievements that could be retroactive have been. That sort of data just isnt there.

Patch 4.2 PTR: New Hallow's End and Brewfest loot {WoW}

May 19th 2011 1:52AM Wow. A 2.0 speed dagger that wont be 2-3 tiers behind on ILvl? My rogue is going to be using that for a looong time.

Encrypted Text: Breaking down tier 12 {WoW}

May 18th 2011 3:24PM This doesnt look bad exactly, but it does look like a cross between T9 and wrath PVP gear.

Breakfast Topic: Did the talent tree reboot work? {WoW}

May 14th 2011 11:16AM Yes and no.

Yes in that the trees seem well balanced across each class while still giving a very different feel, and yes that theyre a bit simpler and there are sometimes a few extra points to put somewhere 'fun'.

No in that there's still a myriad of talents that "increase x by y%", although there are fewer. And no in that while in some specs there may be a few points of flexibility, but there is still generally a 'correct' cookie cutter build. But I think it would be impossible for them to make ANY spec workable without talents becoming meaningless.

The Lawbringer: Mailbag 3.0 {WoW}

May 14th 2011 12:44AM Alton Brown > Gordon Ramsey.

The Queue: Missed a spot {WoW}

May 12th 2011 12:17PM They've done away with most of that stuff thankfully, gameplay > lore. A lot of mechanical mobs in BC were immune to poison (loot reaver, the gatekeepers from mechanar), but now that poison issuch a big chunk of rogue dps, thankfully xt and mimi weren't.
