Sep 26th 2010 8:39AM "All I see with the new glyph tier is more complication and not more return."
Err no....WE now have the ability to pretty much choose all of the useful glyphs we want and have room for some preference ones, before we only got what what was 100% essential or we were sub optimal. So far they are good changes appart from the grounding totem one, 45 sec cd is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long.
Glyphs are such a small part of the game they arent worrying too much about them yet because they have bigger fishes to fry eg, balancing the classes around the total stat rehaul, once they have that done and the talents fixed, then they might have the time to address the minor problems with glyphs if there are any but its not really a big deal if they do or not, just stop bitching everytime they say they might or will try to do something and its not mentioned every time they post things related to cata these "OMG WUR R MAH GLYPHS U SAIDZ U WUD MAKE DEM" posts are seriously annoying now.
Sep 25th 2010 11:09PM "People griefing about DK players (and DK tanks in particular). DK tanking is what kept me interested throughout the entire expansion."
Dk tanks dont grief them since ive always liked tanks/other healers, what p's me off to unbelievable lengths is that 99.99% of players that have a spec to heal/tank go dps and then whine when q's are too long, then theres the fact that DK players are the new huntards sorry but your just gonna have to live with that newbs (not noobs) roll them since they see their normal class as weak compared to a fresh dk if they play them as soon as they can and strangely enough stick to them >.> and dont learn a thing.
"Waiting 15 minutes in queue as a dps after being spoiled by the insta-queue as a tank."
Not sure what you mean here, if you mean your queuing as dps and getting a long queue annoyed you, read above. If you mean queues will be fast again as dps, yeah they will be but dont expect them to be for long.
"Getting up to go grab a drink with five minutes to go on the LFD timer, only to come back in two minutes to see I was removed from the queue!"
Will still be here in cata.
"Zoning into heroic HOR only to see the tank insta-quit because he's too scared to tank the one challenging heroic left."
Noobs will have a shock in store for cata heroics by the sounds of it, hopefully the trend of instaquitting on "challenging" (i say challenging but hor isnt hard) content.
Sep 25th 2010 10:57PM For me hopefully its not being 1 shot in pvp, and healers with infinite mana (looking at you here druids, possibly paladins to an extent). Dieing in globals....how they allowed it for an entire expansion is beyond me....
Sep 25th 2010 10:25PM Yes but every healers mana returned has been nerfed DP is down to 10% of mana instead of 25% guessin its the same for priests and druids too, we shall see.

The reason the aoe became so good was that tanks finally picked up more aoe threat abilities and threat changed in a way that tanks almost never lost adds, therefore why cc if the healer can just heal through it. Prot pallies started it and soon enough every tank got the ability to do reasonable aoe threat, the problem is when mobs do so much damage that they cannot be aoe picked up then cc will be needed again.
As for healers never running oom atm its because of how gear scaled in wrath + extra tiers of gear that were not planned for (hc gear) so int + regen stats became too high. For cata they seem to want tanks to have a much larger hp pool that will take many hits to empty but which will also take many more heals to fill up, unlike the whack a mole style of healing we see today, if tanks dont die in 1 shot and require many more heals to fill their hp bar, and less regen stats in theory we will run out of mana much quicker than today so in some ways i reckon blizz can pull this one off and not just be a complete failure.
For example lvling in dungeons atm for healers is quite well tuned for the wrath dungeons, very rarely can i just sit there spamming heals and not run oom, because the regen on gear and the damage the tanks are constantly taking 5mans in cata will likely be the same when were using raiding gear ofc were not going to run oom, but for the first month or so it should be rough on the healers and for end game content it should be just as hard for us healers.
Jul 24th 2010 11:01PM I normally went to hellfire at lvl 56, grinding mobs was the fastest way to lvl by a mile, sure you missed a lot of spells at 56 but it still worked out best grinding off the ocs near the catapults.
Jul 24th 2010 10:46PM Right could someone explain this to me, wasnt a new lich king placed inside the frozen throne, so the scource and all of the lk's subjects would be under his control ....again? How come the val kyrs just simply got loose? And why arent the scourge running around "ike a "plague of locusts" as i think the cutscene said.
Jul 18th 2010 10:09PM I am thinking the exact same thing as you, my resto shaman days could be over not long after they started if this works out well, restoration shamans seem to be the weakest healers by far come this expansion.
Jul 18th 2010 9:38PM "Focused Mind did not make the cut and has been removed. Not terribly shocked at this one; it was not something you saw regularly taken, even in PvP. "
Im sorry but WHAT....EVERY PVP RSHAMAN TAKES THIS! Clearly you dont pvp much..this is a huge nerf
