Dec 15th 2010 1:51AM In Mail, on my Mac, there is no link preview thingy at the bottom of the window or anything, that I could find. If you are using a web-based email service, this is great advice, but otherwise, it might be completely useless.
On the note of the emails themselves, I've gotten two over the last week or so, claiming to be battle.net, saying that my account info had been changed and to check to make sure, or something. The first time, I hit up us.battle.net, logged in, noticed nothing had changed, deleted the email, confused. The second one, yesterday, I had just woken up, clicked the link in my drowsiness, and was faced with a big red screen saying ATTACK SITE BEWARE RAWR. Thank you, Firefox.
Nov 22nd 2010 11:50PM Yo dawg, I heard you like comments...
Nov 21st 2010 5:21PM That blue post says nothing about killing him. It says "Yes, this isn't a permanent event, but will last so long as he's free to roam the world." He might get trapped by something later on, or whatever. Maybe in 4.1 he won't be free to fly around anymore for some reason, but won't be a raid boss until the end of the expansion, putting a pretty limited time on it (thus making it a FoS instead of an achievement first).
Nov 17th 2010 3:11PM The graphics card is also unsupported for SCII. It runs at ~3-5fps constantly, with everything on the absolute lowest settings, max performance mode, no other apps open, etc. So I'm definitely not hopeful for WoW.
Oh did I mention I have a mac?
Nov 17th 2010 2:44PM Well... time to cancel my account. Stupid craptop with its stupid integrated stupid graphics card becoming stupid unsupported.
Nov 17th 2010 2:40PM With the Zandalar rep disappearing, what is happening to the profession recipe rep rewards? If this was ever answered in comments, sorry, but I generally don't read through all of the pages of comments. I would just like to know if I should go on a ZG binge or if I don't need to worry about it and can get the recipes later.
Nov 12th 2010 10:06PM Yeah, because nobody ever MD's or MC's dangerous elites to their friends...
I once convinced a couple of my friends to jump off of Dalaran after I levitated the three of us... Then dropped group and watched, laughing, as they fell to their deaths. They were laughing too, so it's not that bad. They don't trust me with levitate anymore, though.
Nov 12th 2010 3:21PM One thing you could do is not use the launcher. At least on Macs, there's the actual World of Warcraft application in the WoW folder that you can put on your dock or desktop, and if you click it it'll take you straight to the login screen. I'd figure there's probably a WoW .exe file somewhere in the WoW folders on Windows, too.
Unless when you say launcher you mean the login screen. In which case I have no idea.
Nov 5th 2010 6:12PM Hi, my name is Snazzybeaver, and I'm an altoholic.
One thing that you did not mention that I have found immensely useful in my time is the addon Altoholic. It lets you keep track of everything about all of your characters, and has come in handy innumerable times. I definitely highly recommend it for everyone, from the guy who has only two characters, both at 80, and never rolls anything else, to the people who have multiple alts on multiple servers on both factions, and everyone in between.
Oct 27th 2010 6:42PM The return of twinks is nigh!
I hope, anyways.
