Oct 20th 2009 11:21AM People just don't care.... they rarely read patch notes (even when using the PTR, which seems just stupid to me...) and not near all the players of WoW use community sites. other than that, if the players were around during the BC days they would for sure know what the nether drakes are, but they weren't. there's tons of new people in the game since WotLk came out that dono how to do anything and love to ask questions... the question in this is basically 'why are we blaming blizzard and ourselves for WoW players being human?'. it's not blizzard's fault that people have the launcher turned off and never read patch notes. (most of the things I've been asked about how to get them or what something is was on the launcher.)
Jul 29th 2009 9:43PM I have all the pve heirlooms (actually, 4 of the dagger, 3 of each trinket, 2 bows along with one of everything else). they definetly make things go a lot faster. there are of corse other factors though.... they cut the xp needed to lvl through the BC lvl's (60 to 70) and cut the amount of hp the mobs through that range have as well. i'm sure along the way from vanilla to where the game is now the same thing was done to classic mobs as well. i know that a lot of them have had elite status removed (for example all the mobs around that keep in redridge and all the miners in VC). blizz seems to try to keep the amount of time to reach the max lvl around the same. just imagine when the lvl cap is 100 and all classic WoW mobs die with one hit from a grey quality weapon wielded by a nude bloodelf..... (no, i'm not into the nude BE thing.... i think they look like minors and it creeps me out a bit, i prefer alliance anyway, it's just that every time most servers are down, what do u get all over the BE start area of the ones that are up?).
May 16th 2009 1:14AM we had just killed hodir and our ML got dc'd as we were figuring the loot and he can't get back on lol.
$hit happens, right?
Feb 21st 2009 4:45PM While i agree that it's hard to get mats to lvl this profession 'cuz u have to roll on everything and that it's not fair, can u imagine the price gouging the enchanters would do on enchants and mats? the enchant is a lot cheaper simply becuase it's easy for everyone to get the mats without buying them. really if u wanna lvl enchanting sit in trade chat pathetically begging ppl to have u enchant something 'cuz i dont trust any single group of ppl.... they gouge when ppl trust them like that (remember how much leather and ore costed when wotlk first came out?). but really if it were possible to trust another person in this world i'd definetly let the enchanters have the mats from w/e is DE'd in an instance, too bad u can't.
