Mar 24th 2010 8:13AM Wow, what a coincidence, that was MY favourite part too! :-/ I spent the whole evening getting disconnected every 3 minutes like clockwork. I kept thinking it was my internet connection because it didn't seem to be happening to the other people I was playing with. Now I realize it was because I'm the one with an authenticator.
Mar 3rd 2010 8:31AM didn't blizzard once talk about something like this? a pair of twin 5-mans, one side horde and the other alliance, and one side was going to have to rely on the other to get to a certain point or defeat something and open a door or something, and then it was a race to the end? I remember them talking about this, I think before Ulduar came out. Sad it never came to be, it would have been interesting to see it.
Jan 29th 2010 7:33PM They'll be back. Aion's endgame is excruciating.
Jan 11th 2010 7:29PM I agree, I hate to see suggestions like this, the last thing my prot warrior tank needs is FEWER tools to control caster mobs in PvE. If they really want to hurt prot for PvP and leave PvE how it is, why not take a couple of those stun abilities and add "does not work against players" to them.
Dec 11th 2009 8:41AM Hahahah I'm totally going to be That Guy (or in my case That Girl) when I finally do Occulus. I've avoided Occulus altogether (even on regular) and now I dread having to do it in a random PuG. Its difficulty has loomed to mythic proportions in my mind. I was lucky last night, seemed to draw every dungeon BUT Occulus, but if and when I finally do have to run it I'm not going to know ANYTHING. Hopefully the big strong knowledgeable experts I get paired with will be gentle with me and explain everything.
But other than my Occulus worries I've been having SO much fun with the random dungeon thingie. I never used to do heroics much at all, and I NEVER PuG'd anything, but this makes it super easy. No waiting, or spamming chat for an elusive tank or healer, no travelling to summoning stones or waiting for AFK'ers. I seemed to get paired with people who were geared much better than me (I even had one warrior tank with 52k hp) and all the runs were quick and efficient.
Nov 23rd 2009 8:28AM I've been playing since just before Halloween 2006. My friend was showing me around the game and he reminded me to trick-or-treat every hour. I thought the fact that Blizzard would put trick-or-treating in the game was just the sweetest thing. It was like Blizzard wasn't taking themselves too seriously.
I remember my first instance was blackfathom, and even at lvl 25ish my little troll had never been outside of Durotar and the Barrens. Running from Crossroads to Zoram'gar and being enveloped in the new scenery and music of Ashenvale was a huge epic adventure for me. I sat at my computer, looking like an idiot I'm sure, mouth open, gazing at purple trees and night elf architecture, turning up the soothing enya-like music, reaching the ocean at Zoram'gar and thinking it was really nifty that I had crossed a whole continent and was seeing the ocean on the other side. The world Blizzard had created seemed so much more complete than I had imagined.

what a great thought, I had never noticed that before.
Aug 18th 2009 10:24PM if I'm reading the schedules right it looks like the Guild panel is no longer competing with one of the WoW panels, which is good for us rabid WoW and Guild fans.
