Aug 25th 2011 6:16PM I said this on the forums recently, but it bears repeating. I think tanks being the default leader of a group turns people off to it fairly quickly. They are quick to be blamed, have to explain the fights, have to know how to navigate the dungeons, have to know everybody's CC details, have to be able to direct the group, and so on and so forth. If you want to jump in a dungeon, relax, and kill some stuff, you do not want to be the tank.
Aug 22nd 2011 1:46PM My WoW account is safer than my bank account.
Aug 10th 2011 9:25AM Mage 86: Debilitate - Lowers target's resistance to your current spec (Arcane/Fire/Frost) - 5 min duration
Mage 88: Mass Polymorph - All creatures within 30 yards are polymorphed.
Mage 90: Weave Magic - Cooldown ability - For the duration when you cast a spell, your last spell cast will be cast again. This consumes mana for both spells.
There would have to be some balancing in there, but I like the concepts.
Jun 13th 2011 9:06PM I'd demote the officer, and make Hoots a new officer.
Apr 30th 2011 7:55PM I got the meta with Hard Knocks, and I agree with you. No reason to put further people through that horror.
Apr 26th 2011 9:42AM Brings back memories of EQ where there was no loot system. Also: rogues who took from the mob loot tables when they used pick pocket, reducing the loot the rest of the group got. Those were the days!
Apr 29th 2010 8:06AM Why this is good: iLevel disparity won't be as big in Cata. Instead of 3 "tiers" per tier (10/10hard25/25), we're down to two "tiers" per tier (normal and hard).
Mar 29th 2010 8:10AM Keep in mind, though, we're talking about people who are still patching Diablo II! I think WoW has many more years in it yet. I mean, EQ is still going, right?
