SWTOR launch day questions answered {Massively}

Sep 24th 2011 12:20PM Sweet. In beta and I love this game. Can't wait to play it with my whole guild though. I'm glad I have a laptop, that way I can zip around Hutta between mouthfuls of turkey :p

BioWare Mythic says "Never!" to Real ID {Massively}

Jul 26th 2010 8:02PM Yeah, I agree, Bioware definitely has strong pull in EA. Look at the positions Bioware founders have in the company. I just find it kind of inane that everyone ASSUMES she hasn't cleared the position with EA. She is an EA employee, works for an EA studio. They do have internal emails and such. I'm fairly certain she would have had to have a nod from someone with the decision power over such things to make such an announcement.

Bioware is far to tapped in to what their customers want to ever pull a stunt like Real Id, imo.

Jul 26th 2010 4:54PM Why is everyone simply assuming she didn't clear it with EA first?

BioWare "aggressively" exploring new MMO development {Massively}

Jul 14th 2010 4:15PM I realize what constitutes a good game or even a great game can be very subjective, my wonder game can also be your steaming pile of dung. That aside, Bioware is pretty much the only company I will buy games from without finding some way to try the game first, either by demo or at a friend's house or something. I've never played a Bioware game that let me down, and furthermore, they seem to constantly improve.

Baldur's Gate 2 was better than Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect 2 was better than Mass Effect, etc.

I can't say that about a lot of developers.

TOR's conversation system rebuilt to be like Mass Effect's {Massively}

Jun 28th 2010 11:37PM WoW does a lot of things well. It makes perfect sense to take the things WoW does really well and then build on that, add new things. It would be foolish to completely reinvent the mmo wheel so to speak.

Hyperspace Beacon: SWTOR hype in hyperspace {Massively}

Jun 28th 2010 11:30PM Just a small point. SWG was far more similar to Ultima Online than EQ

Species and advanced careers unleashed in Star Wars: The Old Republic {Massively}

May 15th 2010 6:37AM I don't know, can't you have a Wookie and say the voice acting is from some type of universal translator or something?

Mass Effect 2 'Firewalker' DLC coming late March, includes Hammerhead vehicle and 5 missions {Joystiq}

Feb 26th 2010 11:16PM I didn't find the mountains to be too bad, if you stalled most of the time you could keep moving if you pushed at an angle. Of course a little use of the map and studying the terrain helped. Often it was just a matter of taking a valley around the mountain instead of trying to go over.

Feb 26th 2010 9:53AM Just curious, are a lot of the people that had trouble with the Mako playing the game on the 360?

I played ME 1 on the PC and I didn't have that much trouble with the Mako. Just wondering if it was a lot more unwieldy for console users.
