Apr 12th 2011 11:42AM And if you listen closely as they turn towards you, many of them make a little "what was that?" kinda noise much like you or I would make if we saw something out of the corner of our eye and turned towards it before deciding it was nothing. Luckily we (usually) don't get disemboweled at that point, unlike the mobs.

Mar 2nd 2011 10:09AM Thanks for all the thoughtful replies guys. I really appreciate it.

I can do just about everything to one degree of frustration or another, just like everyone else in the game. The one quest that I have so far been unable to complete on three separate toons is the bloody "Watch Your Step" in Azshara. For those of you unfamiliar with it, you have to run along a series of narrow ledges and click on pedestals for a buff as you run by, looking for launching pads to catapult you to the next ledge. You are being chased by mean little bubbles that will push you off the ledge into the ocean if you stop or miss the launchpad and have to go back to it. You must arrive at the top with all six buffs from the pedestals. The coordination involved in this one is beyond me but you have to complete it to continue on with the chain. Frustrating!

Mar 1st 2011 12:17PM I see your point entirely, but I submit again that I'm willing to take advancement penalties, etc to compensate the special service I'm asking for. For me, what it boils down to is that if I'd wanted to buy and subscribe to something like Mario Bros, I would have. Not much in the game serves as a precedent for these kinds of quests and I can't, in your words, adapt.

On the other hand, it's just a game. If I don't do that quest line my life won't crash and burn. The worst that can happen is that I get sick of quests like that and find some other game to play (and pay for).

Mar 1st 2011 11:55AM I have limited mobility in my left hand and arm and so I have a lot of difficulty with some of the new Cata quests that rely on coordination and dexterity that I just don't have. I don't do dungeons because my hand just isn't quick enough for them, and I'm ok with that. But some of them, like the seahorse quest in Vashj'ir and "Watch Your Step!" in Azshara are obligatory to complete important quest lines. I'm happy for new quest mechanics and I don't begrudge Blizz for the new quests, but some like the one in Azshara, I will never ever ever be able to do and now I'll never know what happens to the Blue Flight. I've asked a couple of GMs if they would please mark that one as complete in my log just so I can continue the line. I'd even accept a penalization of no XP or points towards achieves in that whole line since I'm asking for special favours, but the answer has been a flat out no. Do you know if they really can't help me or if they just won't. I just wanna do the rest of that story!
