Scattered Shots: Grandpappy Frostheim on the end of Wrath {WoW}

Nov 30th 2010 1:25AM None of you are allowed to complain as much as we pallies. Back in MY vanilla days, we levelled with bare autoattacking with shiny, halfassed buffs slapped on our maces, hoping to get into groups and getting laughed out every time we offered to perform a role other than "kings plz". I never got to do any of the admittedly tedious raids, and do you know why? I was foolish enough to think that pallies could do any kind of decent dps! But no, the only way you could even consider asking for a slot was if you had gone out, bought the frilliest, squishiest dress you could find, throwing it on like mother's nightgown, and pledged to traipse about the raid, randomly slapping guildies in the face with your magical fairydust hands. Maybe you would even get some DKP for your rolls on the EPICS, considering you even make it to the last boss without wiping the raid with your ridiculous class

And we LIKED IT.

So don't you come complaining to greatpappy Aeothas about your troubles with the rotation. We didn't even get a rotation! Just got to stand in the back, occasionally whipping out a heal or holy shock, trying as best we could not to die from fire, acid, whelps, general malaise, and crushing ridicule.

And don't even get me started on you Wrath babies! WE're op for the first time in EVER, and all you can think of is how your epic mount should be free at levle 40! If I hadn't already succumbed to buff poisoning...

Nov 11th 2010 10:17PM I have a question about Cata low-level armor sets.

After I read the article about the gear you will be getting while leveling being upgraded above late-80's-fad cosmetics, is it right to assume that armor from dungeons will set together, such as in Wrath, as well?

Breakfast Topic: What would you tell your level 1 self? {WoW}

Oct 3rd 2010 5:53PM 1) While it may seem practical, leveling Retribution pre-BC with a one-hander and a shield does NOT make you a tank/dps hybrid.

2) Do NOT visit Goldshire on Moon Guard. I know it's tempting, but you will be washing your eyes with acid for SO. LONG.

3) That G.I.R.L priest in your guild flashing the /flirts at you? She will steal your shit.

Know Your Lore: The Infinite Dragonflight {WoW}

Mar 24th 2010 10:24PM Deep. Really deep. My brain hurts.

I think this was the best aspect article yet, though. Stellar job.

(line 28) when a dragon, a *CERTAIN RED-HAIRED WIZARD* and an orc went back in time and totally messed with the, I mean changed history).

Also, do you think it is possible that maybe the infinite dragonflight is a product of both bronze and green dragonflight members with corrupted agendas, possibly under the influence of the Old Gods? It appears that the infinites are trying to alter events that would get rid of most, if not all, of Azeroth's major events. Without these events, nothing would have changed past the well of eternity.

Now then, what does the Emerald Dream look like? That's right: Untouched Azeroth.

It's possible that the Old Gods may have attracted the attention of some of the green dragons, who, as we know, are combating a "nightmare" in the Emerald Dream. They may have presented the idea to the greens that the situation in the Emerald Dream is all but hopeless, but they could still try to revert the Waking World. So, they simply paired these converted greens with bronzes they have also converted, and viola, infinites.

This would be another way to explain why the Infinites are attacking such critical moments in history. With Azeroth reborn without the legion, orcs, draenei, anything past the original Azerothian races, it would be as close to the Emerald dream as the greens can fathom without having to lose countless of their number to the battle against nightmare. And, of course, it would be very easy for the Old Gods to just sweep in and wipe everything clean, remaking the world in their image.

Of course, this is only a theory, and WoW is still just a game.

Until next time,
