Feb 10th 2011 8:37PM It would make more sense if it was an actual paper note book.
It doesn't seem right that you would just find a laptop in your drawer that just had that on it.

Nov 23rd 2010 6:12PM I feel like a little kid out on a snowy street without a penny, staring through a foggy window at all the lucky rich kids in the candy store.
TL:DR I'm at work!

I love this, they seem to consistently come up with new and interesting mechanics to test DPS and raid awareness.
Also things like the 20% damage debuff when whelps are out is cool too. It actively 'forces' people who want to do top DPS by standing still and going all out on a single target to actually switch it up.
You can always tell a fight that has great mechanics implemented, they are the ones that people are still wiping on even after they completely outlevel the raid. A perfect example of this would be the twins in Sunwell, early in WotLK people going for the achievement would suffer wipe after wipe on those gals because they refused to follow the mechanics.
Now that we are so far into the xpac it's a little easier but I do wonder - and this is a question for anyone with experience - Will you EVER be able to faceroll H25 LK? I have seen the Paragon video and it just seems so preposterously complex that I cant imagine any amount of firepower (short of 1 shotting him in phase one) that would make that a puggable encounter.
Sep 6th 2010 8:20PM I have a bunch of 80's but only ever stepped into Arena for 10 matches of 2v2 on my Mage, we lost all but one and I had a pretty good time. That however, is the extent of my Arena experience, yet for some strange reason I am drawn to this column every week and thoroughly enjoy the read.
It seems like a whole different game to me, and one that requires an immense amount of skill, situational awareness, class knowledge and lack of lag to master effectively.
Keep up the great work! I wish I could do it myself but I just find the constant death factor in BG's too irksome while learning to really get a start at PvP.
That said, I ALWAYS will challenge a duel to anyone around my level while questing as I think that you best learn the class you are playing when you have to do so with a heightened sense of urgency and awareness brought on by a skirmish.
Perhaps one day I'll jump back in for another go!

Jun 22nd 2010 10:18PM I love when someone pulls out AoTD on an oversized boss purely for the laugh factor as the boss goes into Saturday Night Fever mode and starts spinning on the spot!
