Mar 16th 2010 11:07PM Oh Tiny, how I love you... please be mine!
Mar 4th 2010 3:13PM I'm going to guess that it was downvoted for the failure to understand statistics. Just because 40% of players in the US are women (according to one study that doesn't even tell us the margin of error) does not mean that a) 40% of players in Random Guild A are women, b) that 40% of the players on any given server are female, or that c) 40% of players in a specialized/niche/interest group guild are female. Even on the US realms.
Mar 4th 2010 1:14PM I promise it's just as frustrating when it goes the other way. A lot of my BiS as a shaman is cloth, but in my guild we're not allowed to roll on 'lower' gear unless everyone who uses it has passed. We have to roll with the off specs. I don't want to take gear away from my guild, but I still want my BiS gear. I'm very much looking forward to not being stuck in that position.
Feb 26th 2010 3:13PM Most of the time I'd say Healing Focus if that's what it's down to for you. It does depend a lot on what content you're working on and whether or not you're just starting out, but more often than not HF will be a steadier bonus. At very starting levels, Elemental Weapons can be pretty handy... it just doesn't scale, so once you're in T9 or better it isn't usually worth the points. As I recall, it works out to be equivalent to 145 spellpower. On the other hand, pushback isn't always an issue. I certainly held on to that talent for all of Ulduar, but I haven't found it (personally) necessary in ICC.
(I actually opted out of both of those and took Enhancing Totems, but we don't always run with an enhancement shaman and I wanted the melee to stop complaining so much. ;) )
Feb 26th 2010 2:59PM Actually, Totem Timers has one other huge advantage over the default UI -- it will tell you how many players are out of range of a given totem (out of the players that can benefit) and give you names if you mouseover it.
Feb 22nd 2010 3:50PM @Avan: People like collecting and opportunities to show that collection to friends. I'd kill for a way to display my extensive hat collection.
