Apr 4th 2012 3:29PM Playing rogue isn't about playing fair, if we find ourselves in a situation where we can be unbalanced we should give it our all. Notice I said unbalanced, not OP or nerfed to heck- because no matter what class or spec you play you should do whatever it takes without defying the ToS to win. Sure as a class we have access to many "cheap tricks"- but that is how the class is played. Is it fun to have a rogue blow you up? I suspect not, but if I like to play a rogue whether OP or nerfed, chances are when the nerfbat rolls around and monks are eating my face they will have just as little mercy for me as I do have now.
Rogues may be unbalanced, OP or nerfed as time goes along. Write a post on how and why certain mechanics make them so and just do your best at what you can do. I shouldn't have to feel bad about being efficient at my job when I am OP, I shouldn't feel bad about having to work harder to get decent results when I am nerfed, and I shouldn't have to feel guilted for not playing flavor of the month when I am balanced. Play to have fun, when you get croaked shrug it off.
It isn't the player's job to implement class balance, just play to win. Let the devs worry about balance and just try to enjoy the game.

Mar 27th 2012 6:32PM I hate the very idea of it, I don't like the idea of the practical implementation of needing mana to get mana back and I hate the idea of not healing someone just so I can heal someone else who might need it more 3 seconds later, hoping that the other healers will keep them up until then. It is practically a crutch and the only positives I see about it is I might be able to help beat an enrage timer with it (hardly ever is that the case though, most of the time I would be carrying a floater), and it does give me some regen at the cost of attentiveness to the raid.
Mar 18th 2012 11:52PM Not so big on the idea of when I am trying to kite a ret pally he becomes not only unkitable, but closes all the distance with a MASSIVE speed buff, stuns me for 3 seconds, blows all his cds on me while I can't defend myself and if I can manage to sprint away, disengage away, whatever, he still has a passive run speed increase and is probably immune to all damage while ranged judging me speeding him up whenever the bubble runs out.
Pallies already have as many ways of dealing with kiters that rogues have cds in entirety.
Mar 17th 2012 5:49PM sorry I pressed reply instead of putting it in the lower box:
I'd like to see our oral inspirational abilities enhanced upon. Heroic presence should be ours. Remember the warrior in 300 telling the story to the entire army of Greece before leading them into battle? Words move people, it is all about being a leader. We have left too much of our leadership in the face of war to our paladin brethren. Imagine you are barely holding off wave after wave of enemy attacks and the Ultramarines show up and back you up. Yeah, heck sounds like a heroic presence to me.

Mar 16th 2012 4:51PM Always OT, I have been. Always only there because the MT can't solo everything...yet. The warrior tank on Iron Council I have been that never let anything through. The trash tank that held off adds from the "boss tank". Always the "bridesmaid and never the bride" :P
Mar 14th 2012 6:02PM Mograinne, the dad, was undeathed, slain, and then left to watch over his son, and not tormented seemingly. One might assume, that it has alot to do with what they do with their remaining conscience after undeath. For instance I figure Zeliek is probably being cuddled by a Naaru or something, for fighting against the LK with all his will, and still not having a choice.
Mar 13th 2012 4:46PM A great deal of us wouldn't be playing a game with an artificial community that we can make friends in a safe, experimental format if we had alot on our own. So yeah, I think to a small extent we are being trolled, because some of us, aren't exactly known for our great many rl friends that they are now tailoring the game for.
