Apr 4th 2012 1:45AM Well now...I know which game I won't be playing. Nice marketing
Aug 3rd 2011 12:10PM I hope they eventually have a PC release. I love the art style
Jul 1st 2011 6:14PM @L0sther0 I see this said all the time. The only thing similar about the logos are their fonts, and even then they're different from one another.
Oct 28th 2010 6:46PM Why do you guys continue to cover this game and show such favoritism to Hi-Rez? They already said the game was less of an MMO than Global Agenda (which wasn't an MMO at all) and less of an MMO than Firefall (which Red 5 says isn't an MMO and Massively doesn't even cover). If you're going to make decisions on what should/shouldn't be covered by Massively, you need to be consistent.
Aug 20th 2010 9:42PM Really happy for the guys who were rehired for MyWorld. I was very interested in the game after watching the trailer, so I'm glad to see it's back on the table for now (I hope).
As for APB, I just don't see how they can be successful with such a pricing model. This is the perfect type of game to use a F2P micro-transaction based system. Tons of customization, tons of options RTW could use to release onto a micro-transaction marketplace purchasable with RTW points. Fix some key issues, drop the pay-by-hour nonsense and I think APB will have new life breathed into it.
Feb 19th 2010 12:43PM I couldn't help but think of wowcrendors blood elf rap video and laugh
Feb 11th 2010 8:34PM I don't think this means we won't see an early to mid summer Cataclysm release. The "additional content" probably means pre-Cataclysm launch event content and additional Battle.net 2.0 features being rolled out.
Remember the months before they launched BC and WotLK, how we received partial content from patches 2.0 and 3.0 before the expansions launched which included sweeping class changes and event content? This is what I think he is referring to, not actual dungeon or dailies hub content like Isle or the Argent Tournament.
I still believe Cataclysm will be released before August at the very latest. Blizzard admitted the time it took to release WotLK after the final content patch of BC took way too much time and it isn't a mistake they want to repeat.
Feb 6th 2010 2:21PM Starsiege and Starsiege: Tribes
Too bad it'll never happen, but I can dream!
Feb 5th 2010 7:25PM I personally think Blizzard is in the right here.
Ensidia noticed the encounter was bugged and realized they didn't need to kill the Val'kyr, which made the encounter trivial for someone of their caliber. I have a feeling if they still attempted to do the encounter the correct way, killing any Val'kyr that spawns rather than focus firing on the Lich King to essentially skip the phase, Blizzard may have not been as harsh and allowed them to keep their title.
They insisted to skip the Val'kyrs by their own words, which is where the exploitation of the fight mechanics comes into play and where I think Blizzard decided to take action.
