Breakfast Topic: Who knew? {WoW}

Apr 22nd 2010 8:41AM Usually its not so much that the information isn't out there, it's just that people would rather play the game then spend endless days trying to figure out everything they could possibly do in game.

How many times have you bought a new printer, car or anything else and read the manual completely from front to back, googled everything it could possibly do THEN use it?

Incoming newbies, but why? {WoW}

Nov 8th 2009 6:39PM One thing to keep in mind...It is very hard to get new subscribers when to play modern content you need to dish out upwards of $100 to play (game + 3 expansions) + a $15 a month fee.

Since they are redoing all of azeroth there is not much you could do with just the original WoW game.

They may be preparing to release Cataclysm as a game straight up rather than an expansion which would allow them to collect monthly fees and not scare away potential new customers...

Spiritual Guidance: 12 Reasons why you don't want to play a Priest {WoW}

Sep 7th 2009 12:58PM This doesnt seem so much like priest issues but just trying to find anything to complain about.

Thankless healing? Yes some of the time groups don't appreciate it, but your not doing it for them. Hopefully your doing it because you like healing. 3 other classes also have to deal with this.

Leveling a nightmare? Everyone seems to complain about leveling their class. The first time is fun for nearly everyone that still plays, but after that, few people actually like leveling over and over and doesn't really have to do with your class. You could always complain about leveling as a pally, warrior, druid or any other class because of mechanics but would changing classes really change the repetitive nature of leveling?

Confusing stats? Again, game mechanics. Try juggling between hit/expertise/haste/arm pen. Everyone has to deal with the confusing stats at least until cataclysm (hopefully).

Your issues seem to be more with the game itself than with the priest class. The grass is always greener on the other side.

Retribution DPS too low {WoW}

Mar 4th 2009 2:42PM For some reason im not worried at all. We had way to many excess points before 3.1 that were just used as a dump without anything else to increase dps ; then they free up more? It would seem like there preparing to add in talents or move around a bunch of stuff in the ret tree.

All I can do is wait and see now. Good news is I geared up my holy set then with all the inc nerfs switched to holy and realized I love healing. Probably will stay holy for progression as its also easier to find groups when I just want to run something quick.
