Mar 18th 2011 4:06PM I've always wanted to try these raid decks out, so this would be great, especially if it's as accessible as that review says it is!
Jan 23rd 2011 9:06PM I think part of the problem with the current system and your goal of looking down and seeing your body is that the camera moves to inside your toon and, as far as I know, you're mostly hollow. They might be able to fix this by shifting the camera, but since each race/sex's head is at a very different spot with respect to their body it might be a bit hard to work out the kinks.
Jan 18th 2011 1:29PM I feel like there are a lot of Worgen around the old world. It seems like almost anywhere there are goblins trying to exploit the environment there are Worgen fighting and sabotaging them (most recently in Felwood and the Blasted Lands as Montas mentioned). Now, I AM seeing it from the Horde side, so it may just seem like they are everywhere, but my poor little goblin shaman seems to run across Worgen almost every other zone.
Jan 13th 2011 4:27PM Hmm apparently I lost half the comment in a copy/paste. There was supposed to be a part in there that went something like "YES crowd control is incredibly useful." Make sure to know what you can do and have access to your abilities, because you'll never know when they'll be useful. I was running Stonecore and people kept losing track of the earthshapers until they would transform. In case anyone wonders, yes they do still hurt a lot when they transform and can use their hard-hitting stuff. Banishing them once they transformed kept them tucked away until we could deal with them quickly though (and remember, cast banish again on a banished target to un-banish it so people don't get impatient waiting for it to expire on its own).
Jan 13th 2011 4:23PM Also warlock Howl of Terror and Death Coil (although I don't particularly recommend actually using them in a dungeon) and the fact that glyphing Fear makes the enemies just stand in place.
Mages have slow, frost nova (and do they still have an ability like that on their elemental pet?), and counterspell (which can be talented to silence as well as interrupt).
Hunters also have their Frost Trap (slow instead of freeze).
I probably missed some, but no doubt other will find them.
Jan 7th 2011 3:37PM I can't recommend Hillsbrad enough either. Sadly, though, I didn't realize you could use the shovel on that quest until I was turning it in so all those humans got away...
Dec 23rd 2010 1:41PM Your post... confuses me. You claim that you'll be less bored if you just have to stand there and push whatever damage-dealing buttons you have. That seems backwards to me. Shouldn't it be less boring if you have to actually pay attention to what's happening and react with interrupts and the like? Unless I guess you just want some nice scenery and a training dummy that spits out loot periodically, like some of the Wrath dungeons ended up.
Dec 23rd 2010 1:35PM I didn't know it could be interrupted either. As a warlock I ended up just banishing the Force of Earth elementals until the other mobs were dead and I think it worked ok. Now that CC's been brought up, though, I need to track down that Fear glyph...
Dec 16th 2010 11:43PM So I know your comment probably got cut off because you used a less-than symbol, but I laughed at how it actually works with your point.
Dec 9th 2010 9:51AM Yeah I'm in a small guild too, but leveling just my main from 80-82ish got about 1/5-1/4 of one level for the guild, so you should start to see benefits sooner than you think. It's going to be a bit more painful than for a big guild, but it's kind of more satisfying too, I think.
