Know Your Lore: 5 must-do Horde zones to complete before Mists {WoW}

Mar 20th 2012 2:35PM See, now, Stonetalon and Silverpine are the two zones where I thought they would have more in store for Garrosh other than being a total d-bag.

I always thought being as pigheaded as he has been, that his attitude was simply because he was young and ingorant into what would make a good leader, and as players we were making that journey with him.

With the news that he's going to be among the final encounters in the last patch of MoP, it makes me sad that it appears they are going to write him off as simply a d-bag leader.

Stonetalon is one of the (consider this your spoiler warning if you haven't finished) most poignant stories in Garrosh's reign where we actually see him being an honorable leader. Jerk as he may be to most, it's here we see him prioritize honor over selfish advances. It's a beautifully developed story and I was hoping we'd see more of this learning Garrosh, but the Story Devs seem to relish us hating and wanting to get rid of the young Hellscream. I was hoping for something more meaningful than simply "nah, this guy's a d-bag, let's off him for 'war crimes' and be done with it..."

I'm still hoping for more as it's too early to tell.

Ready Check: Handling raid drama {WoW}

Oct 8th 2011 1:09AM Tyler "sleeping"....pfffft.

More like, real life "brewfest"-ing.

(that's not ale! that's rocket fuel!)

Firelands raid changes incoming {WoW}

Sep 13th 2011 9:12AM Ralod: "People who do things for the prestige of long ago got their kills. This helps the rest of us average joes get to equal footing."

FOR. REAL. This nerf does nothing. The leet "prestige" type players long ago got their kills in FL. The progressive nerfs over the course of the following weeks is for the rest of us.

I hate the constant whining from people who claim nerfs like this are hurting the game. If you genuinely enjoy the challenge, good on you. But Blizzard is trying to release content sooner than they typically do which means in order for them to get people to experience their content before the next round, nerfs like this are necessary.

But lets not kid ourselves. The people crying about the challenge and wanting the prestige of pre-nerf kills are in the same boat as the people struggling with normal FL anyhow. The REAL prestige players already have their Heroic Ragz kill, or are darn near close to it.

Everyone else, I hate to break it to you, but YOU ALL WANTED CONTENT SOONER so stop crying if you can't down it quick enough. I'd say 4.3 is gearin' up for a November release...do you know when November is? SIX WEEKS. That's not far off.

But if you guys want content sooner, then don't b*tch when they are pushing for changes to get you prepared for the newer content.

Shifting Perspectives: On the matter of Moonkin Form {WoW}

Aug 26th 2011 7:57PM I don't understand why Moonkin form can't be a cooldown buff like Tree of Life or a Lock's Metamorphosis.

That way Moonkin form altogether is still the damage buff the designers want it to be, without pigeonholing players into a form they, quite frankly, are tired of.

Blood Pact: What to do once you hit level 85 {WoW}

Aug 9th 2011 9:31AM So what you guys are saying is...you can't reforge resilience?

:P

Spiritual Guidance: Further changes on Patch 4.2 PTR to consider {WoW}

May 16th 2011 5:25PM Lol....sure. "camping." Is that what the kids are calling it these days?

As for the write-up: I look forward to trying out these changes. I always thought crit got left behind when mastery joined the party. And we all know Haste is an attention whore who needs to get knocked off her pedestal. It'll happen....

Shifting Perspectives: How to make the switch to balance {WoW}

Apr 30th 2011 8:48AM I think what helps me for those instances where I die during a fight while on Boomer duty is being an alchemist with the trinket. The mana gained from dreamstate can easily be accounted for by using a mana pot with the Alchemist trinket bonus. And this is the only time I use a manapot...when I die and am rezzed.

Breakfast Topic: Has Deathwing caught up with you yet? {WoW}

Mar 3rd 2011 8:36AM When I saw the big dee-dubya flying whilst tending to my archeologies, I flew straight to him on my druid and yelled:

I'M GOING TO PUNCH THAT DRAGON IN THE FACE!

Alas, I didn't even get close. He'll rue the day he ganked me. RUE. IT.

Patch 4.1 PTR: Trinkets of tier 12 {WoW}

Feb 27th 2011 2:46AM So underwhelmed with those healing trinkets.

Intel boost is nice...but I'm not exactly going "oooo" and "ahhhh" and "must sell firstborn to obtain".

More like.... "meh."
