BlizzCon 2010: DirecTV Ghostcrawler interview {WoW}

Oct 24th 2010 1:42PM I like the direction you’re going with this. I hope Blizz is working on something huge. They have at least a year (most likely) to get it polished and ready. I want to be amazed by the encounter toppling buildings, catapults, motorized siege towers, trebuchet volleys, running from molten lava as it splashes out of the wounds inflicted on the armor holding Deathwing together. The earth splitting, geysers erupting, as Deathwing bashes. Blizzard is running out of dragon aspects, might as well make this one epic.

Arcane Brilliance: Catching up on mage Cataclysm changes {WoW}

Cataclysm Beta: New character introductions for all races {WoW}

Aug 31st 2010 3:36PM I am with Breaklance. Let's have the Cenarion brotherhood out of the chaos of The Cataclysm. I think with all the real life people rolling Worgen and tauren Pally's would allow Blizz to get a pretty good population balance on their servers. Tauren + NE = Human = BE = Balanced server population. Plus it would open up some interesting story lines.

Breakfast Topic: A little sumpin' sumpin' on the side {WoW}

Jul 18th 2010 4:58PM I have found this amazing game. A guys comes home from work and instead of login into any site or even turning on his computer, he goes out to his forgotten woodshop. Musty scents fill his nostrils as he forces open the door. Last fall’s leaves scatter in a gust of summer wind. A half finished piggy bank, a few partially finished boxes, that cool bookshelf project, all call out from the shelves and corners, pick me please pick me. Which one to work on or to work on all of them, what will I do.

Azshara: Changes and what will be missed {WoW}

Jul 11th 2010 1:33PM Yes please. More class quest lines. With the homogenization er.. class balancing, a staff, wand, sword, cape, helm with perfect class stats, available only to your class, would be most welcome. Even though it was a pain I hope the fire totem quest chain is still in Cata. in some form. That chain weeds out the weak from the shaman pool.

Scattered Shots: Pistols for hunters? {WoW}

I think we could easily treat pistols like thrown weapons. In Pve they could be equipped in that slot and used for pulls, stat sticks buy the classes that can already use thrown. For hunters there could be talents that control the damage from the pistols. (Pistol specialization anyone?) Survival talents give PVP utility to pistols; MM & BM give PVE utility to the pistols. At range we have full damage from our spells at melee range you pull out your pistol and a slow sword (or shotgun) in off hand. The pistol is getting diminished damage from our main spells. The Off-Hand is only a stat stick doing white damage. As soon possible we move back out to range to resume our place at the top of the chart looking very dashing the whole time. The rouge and mage would have that one fight to take their place at the top of the chart we could doff our hat to their prowess and pawn them on the next boss.

I also like the idea of engineers being able to reforge a weapon from two-hand to one-hand. (Sawed off shotgun drool).

I think there are a lot of hunters who would like to mix it up a bit more than we can now. Blizzard is saying that there should be some more fun talents. How about say in the BM or Survival tree talents and paths that that allow us to get in there with the pet and mix it up a bit. Still better damage from range but we have chain on why not use it a bit. Maybe this is a bit too far but, how about a moth that spreads healing dust and heals us while we do a bit of melee.

Cataclysm druid, rogue, priest and shaman talent previews {WoW}

Jun 10th 2010 7:55AM Please please please keep it Nom Nom Nom, there is no reason to every change it besides all the other classes being jealous that their talent is not as wonderfully named. We might have to pull out that old parenting standby and remind folks that everyone is special in their own way. Druids just got the best name of a talent ever.
