Patch 4.3 PTR: Heart of the Aspects and other new mounts {WoW}

Oct 26th 2011 6:29PM Is it just me, or does the way the wings rotate make it seem like it should be flying backwards? They seem to be oscillating in a back-pedalling fashion. Not that I'm complaining in anyway, that mount looks pretty sweet!

Oct 7th 2011 1:57PM Tier 2.5 is the tier set that came out of AQ back during vanilla. The reason it has the weird color pallates and strange textures is probably because it was based around the bosses and trash inside of AQ (so as to have a scarab/insect feel to it).

This is pure speculation of course. I, in no way, know for certain what the artists used for inspiration while they were designing t2.5.

Oct 7th 2011 1:17PM Q4tQ: Now that brewfest is over, would it more profittable to sell my tankards right away, or hold on to them for a few months in hopes that, with fewer and fewer of them in circulation, their price will increase?

Sep 23rd 2011 12:08PM Q4tQ: I'm currently reinstalling WoW on my laptop, and I noticed something a bit strange. When the launcher first appears, there is ~600-700 MB (iirc) of data that needs to be downloaded before the launcher reaches the available stage and I can log in. However, last night was a busy night for me and I didn't have a chance to log in and instead let the launcher continue to download data until I shut it down to go to bed (It was ~0.5 GB into the available stage when I closed it).

However, when I woke up this morning (fully expecting to log in and play), suddenly there's ~4.5 GB of data that needs to be downloaded until the the launcher reaches the available state.

What exactly is the cause of this? Has this happened to anyone else before? Is it something that can be fixed or bypassed?

Sep 11th 2011 1:32PM I could totally see something like that happenning. I would love to fight a human form of Deathwing. Perhaps it would be phase 1 of his fight (or maybe the final phase?!) and after we "kill" him, he transforms into his dragon form and flys off. After that, for the "deathwing's back" phase we chase him around an instanced version of azeroth flying on the backs of different aspects fighting off incoming waves of trash, then finally landing on his back. From there we would fight other waves of trash while given the opportunity at certain points to rip open his scales and damage him. Or another version could be similar to the malygos flight where we are in control of the aspects and have to fight Deathwing and waves of trash until we damage him to a certain point and are able to land on his back.

There are so many cool ideas for this fight that Blizzard could (and hopefully do) implement.
