Apr 13th 2011 11:57AM Well, this sucks :p
I will miss DLS greatly. It's one of the handful of blogs I read on the laptop to ease me in to the day while drinking my first coffee in bed. There was almost always something interesting or useful to find here.
Good luck with whatever you guys get into in the future.
Mar 25th 2011 9:30AM I like the old new one!
Dec 19th 2010 8:23AM This app is just superb. It's a challenge working within quite narrow limits, but the creativity of some users is just astonishing.
Dec 14th 2010 8:52AM Presumably others will only be able to actually listen to the tracks if they already have them in their iTunes collection? Seems to rather miss the point in that case.
Spotify has been doing playlist sharing and collaboration now for ages and and registered user can hear any of the tunes.
I get the feeling that the sound most Ping users are going to hear in their 'social' space is the sound of cricket and the occasional passing tumbleweed.
Actually, are there actually any Ping users? Serious question.
Nov 19th 2010 5:35AM Ok, so, all those who don't rise early are lazy then? Did you miss the part that said sleep late and GO TO BED LATE or did you just ignore it?
I'm a night owl and I am at my most creative after midnight, but I bet I actually sleep less than you (four hours a night on average - thankyou 9 to 5 work pattern :p)
Sep 30th 2010 5:04PM PNG ftw. All this and an alpha channel too.
May 22nd 2010 10:36AM Trammel Landrush 1999 - I remember when all this was fields.
Jan 27th 2010 2:45PM To quote Tom Hanks in Big
"What's fun about playing with a building?"
May 26th 2009 3:34PM If you could channel the caller to a conference voice session in-world, then I could see a use for allowing those unable (or unwilling) to run Second Life to attend in-world meetings via a phone.
Apr 28th 2009 8:20AM I too have many fond memories, but one of the stand-out moments for me was playing as part of an eight man all radiation defender team and going through missions like a hot knife through butter. I later joined an all rad SG and had many such moments.
