Jun 16th 2009 10:05AM I think the greatest ending would involve a massive free-for-all with the horde and alliance fighting side-by-side (able to communicate) smashing face non-stop. All of this would build up to the opening of a 40-man (yes 40) raid to bring down Sargeras and a few other notable lore-based villians. And at the very end when Sargeras dies it goes to a cut scene where everyone in your raid presumably dies. The cut scene would have a congratulatory speech from the same narrator that opens the game. Then at the end of the cut scene your toon gets back up and all of the faction leaders come in and thank you and your raid. From there whatever weapon you have on you is turned into a legendary with your name on it and its stats are all boosted. . . and i guess there could be a cool mount to go along with it.
I know it seems like a bunch of fan-service (not the manga/anime kind) but i think if you play the game to the very end you deserve something like that.
May 19th 2009 8:24AM who can honestly deny that getting free loot is awesome?
props to WoW Insider for knowin' how to hook us with cool toys for one of our favorite games
May 19th 2009 8:17AM thinking about it I have to admit I use the game as a way to keep in touch sometimes but other times I do meet with friends IRL so i gotta say its a 50-50 mix

May 4th 2009 9:45AM I think the best way to get un-banned would be to sacrifice the character "Karatechop." It may be a harsh punishment but the player made a mistake. He shouldn't receive a "death sentence" for "criminal negligence" he should get fined or imprisoned. Make the punishment fit the crime. I can see Blizz being awfully upset over this but they should not jump the gun on this one. They should have "trial" of sorts. The way Karatechop put it is that they felt, as a guild, they were receiving an item like the "Sword of a Thousand Truths" and look at the amount of time they had it and how much it was used. In the eight days they had Martin Fury they could have used each and every charge available to them, but they didn't. I seriously think he should be given a break. At the very least he should not have his account permanently banned.
May 1st 2009 10:55PM I can see how this could be considered sexist but largely it isn't after all you can put the ears on male characters as well as female. The only difference is that you won't get the achievement if you only put them on male players. In all honesty it's just a pop-culture reference for those that get it and just something else to do for those that don't.
Apr 14th 2009 12:37PM I haven't seen the final notes but if the sunder armor got turned to a single % of armor like they said it was gonna be then as a warrior I have just been put through a shredder and came out mangled beyond recognition.
Mar 31st 2009 8:11AM That was pretty good. A little for my tastes but it was still a good read.
(seriously about that descriptive word the whole thing was kinda over the top and there is a word i am thinking of someone please help me!)
Mar 24th 2009 11:37AM It may seem a bit lazy but this little do-dad has won my heart simply because it frees up my time (which I have tons of and now have even more of). I no longer have to get online dig through all my bookmarked pages and dig up the realm status for each realm I play. This is deffinetly the lazy WoW players best friend.
Mar 12th 2009 8:24AM the guy may have a legitimate claim but he doesn't stand a chance of winning. Blizz may be able to throw in a statute of limitations claim or some other such thing smacking the guy down and if he loses his first case then he's likely to lose them all for whatever reason he lost the first one for (read that again if it didn't make sense). Unless any of these companies are actually using some type of software he designed I doubt he'll get very far with his claim.
