Apr 18th 2009 7:14PM Umm, I believe he does have an enrage timer. We tried doing this with melee sitting out at first and he enraged after I believe was 6-7 minutes if not mistaken. We have a melee heavy raid team. We changed our strat and took him down in under 3 minutes the next attempt.
Mar 16th 2009 10:34AM I just re-read this article after reading all the negative comments about how he is being complete devoid of objectivity. Or how the officers are not listening or even that this is a one-sided article. To me it sounds like you have to re-read the article and again and take put it in perspective. Because for all I read, he is stating for folks to take a look at what they have accomplished and to determine if it really is a bad situation. Nowhere do I see him telling folks to not speak to their Officers etc.
I run a guild and I found this article refreshing. I have an open door policy to all my members. In my guild I delegate responsibilities to the Officers and some of the Vet's etc. We listen to any and all logical suggestions that you can see someone took time to put together. We run the guild as an organization and nothing is done without the majority agreeing to it in one form or another. You will always have a few unhappy campers, but you can't fulfill everyone’s wishes.
I think Scott's article was refreshing to see as I have seen a lot of VERY ungrateful folks that are no longer with us. I believe this article is directed at those folks.
