Jul 11th 2010 3:50AM 2 things I'm going to miss
-Grinding elite blue dragokin for the azure whelpling
-dodging naga at a lvl 35 to get to the 'sweet spot' for Darkclaw lobsters.
-Excessive rare spawns as there were only ever about 4 people in zone.
Nov 4th 2009 4:20PM Up on the EU store at £9 or 10 Euros. Wow, Blizzard really knows how to work those exchange rates.
And for people complaining about microtransactions, this is not the first- all those faction/race/name changes- those are first. I'm not including the TCG items, as I always thought those were a bonus to TCG collectors rather than a 'pay this much and get this thing' straight out of the box (yes, I know about the secondary market for the codes, but that's not Blizzard's doing, just the magic of greed :) )
Oct 16th 2009 2:48PM What the hell is going on with all these trolls? Not seen such a dedicated trolling effort in a random thread on this site for... well... I've never seen this many troll posts in one thread before.
Oct 16th 2009 5:30AM I don't.
Firstly, I reckon this pet was originally made to celebrate WotLK's anniversary. Secondly, it's too much like Pengu. The whole thing feels cheap. (cheep?)
Oct 13th 2009 3:33PM Oh and another thing- nice to see the penguin pet that I guess was originally there to celebrate the Litch King's anniversary is now being used to drive the move to battle.net. Thanks Activard.
Oct 13th 2009 3:24PM Merged my (EU) account a month or so ago, and have had many many more disconnects and failures to connect than before. Screw account security (never been hacked in 3 years). Just give me a working log-in server.
Oct 9th 2009 6:58AM Much as I love PCG (got a subscription and everything), they do occasionally get overexcited about stuff and start extrapolating what they've been told are early design ideas into full-on game features. Of course, they're just reporting on what Blizz have hinted at, but they do sometimes let their enthusiam get ahead of them (I'm thinking of their earlier DoWII coverage, and I think there were a couple of things in their earlier Litch King coverage that didn't make it to the shipped game- like PvP in planes).
