Mar 24th 2010 1:13PM Rejection of an app due to a UI is retarded in my opinion.
I have since day one, used the default UI with just a few other addons (grid, omen, etc). I have both tanked and healed up through the first wing of ICC without a problem.
I tried changing to one or two other programs.. but found they took up JUST as much space on the screen, so i was neither gaining or loosing anything.
Especialy now a days, with many people using widescreen monitors with wide screen resolutions.. my EMPTY area is biger than the empty & ui portions together before on a regular one.
Can you do your job and preform up to the level that they want you at with the way your UI is? then what does it matter.
Feb 4th 2010 2:45PM If you are on the last few books, server restarts are a GREAT thing. It seems like alot of them start spawning fresh after a restart.
I was wating 3 days for my last book, always missed the window. Last day i found a fake, and LONG before the timer was up, server restart. Restart server, log back in, and BAM its right there.
Jan 12th 2010 12:38PM I am just waiting for the Kaluk & buckit reference :P
Dec 22nd 2009 9:00AM Not sure about the horde side cinimatic, but on alliance side, durrin HoR, Uthar talks to Jaina.. and pretty much says.. Arthas must have SOME form of humanity left in him, that its that little bit which is what is holding back from the scourge from just running rampant and taking over everything...
Soo.. leads ME to be belive at least, that the lich king wont be defeated, more just entombed or something, or that someone else will take over, to still have that little bit holding them back.
Dec 17th 2009 3:21PM While myself as a raid leader for our guild (as tank or healer), we dont use RW much for annoucements, etc persay for strats or anything..
The BIGEST thing i am missing is the announcments from Bigwigs/littlewigs.
Even if only say the raid leader had bigwigs in the instance or raid, it would annouce certain things over the /rw channel (person X has debuff). Now it doesnt do that..
Sort of a pain while tanking/healing, to now specificaly be shouting to someone about stop DPSing or whatever, when before the RW told them so.
Nov 27th 2009 12:55PM Comming as a collector (not of wow figures, but other figures), i suprisingly DONT side with the average collector.
Yeah, when buying something, its nice to get a MISB one, to make sure its new, not played with, not missing anything, etc.
I just dont see where the value goes up that much more for people though keeping them that way.. to me, they are designed to be seen OUT of the box, set up, and properly displayed.
Nov 25th 2009 11:31AM I have most of the books already, but these would be some GREAT gifts for some of my lore nerd friends who have not read them.
