It was useful for 1 encounter back in Vanilla, and that quest took 5 minutes to complete. It has never had any practical use since.

Stupid move to include it and never support it Blizzard, then keep it around 7 years.

Blizzard continues to swing the nerf bat at dangling class pinatas. Now they want to revert to the previous fire aoe build that was implemented 2 patches ago. Clearly they don't know what to do for certain, it's all experimentation.

I can bet this will not be the build going into the MOP release.

Cataclysm is the worst expansion ever especially as it relates to continued class changes.

Nope, WoW give you none of that. You get generic crap pushed out the door and are expected to pay monthly for this. Blizzard isn't too focused on this franchise currently and it shows most painfully.

Grats to those that care to send Blizzard a message with their dollars. Time for a wake up call.

Nov 9th 2011 4:19PM Hmm, seems like similar conversations I've heard countless times before. Ultimately, the balancing never stops, nerfs happen, buffs counter and the same ole sheet keeps on going on and on.

This conversation was a good waste of time though.

Nov 9th 2011 10:50AM More people should leave, stop paying for a game that's this old, and unbalanced.
Paying for this is a waste, when in the last year so many free to play games have been better. This is a 7 yr old game with only content updates.
Oh well, When you have blinders on, you cant see too well around yourself I suppose.

Try a search on youtube for free to play, and see for yourself whats out there.

Nov 9th 2011 10:40AM It was a bad decision by blizzard to introduce resilence in the first place. They never did a good job of balancing armor rating v.s. burst damage.

WARhammer, although dead, had a great mechanic for RVR.

Grinding 2 sets of gear is a joke! Especially if you want to play more than 1 toon.

Nov 3rd 2011 11:32AM I don't think I'll go back. I stuck with it for 5-6 long years. Got tired of Pug's and the aggro. I didn't want to pay to play in a hostile environment, that's not my idea of fun. I miss it at times, but I feel like it's similar to quitting smoking.

It's hard as heck to break away, it gets easier, to a point where you don't care anymore. Now I find I have activities outside of 8 hr days playing. It's a massive time sink that in retrospect, feels real good to have unchained myself from, and like smoking, which I've quit on 2 occasions 10 years apart, it's too easy to get back involved and return to old habits.

So as much as I enjoyed my time, I'm staying away, for my peace from angry kids that feel they only their position is relevant, and my own addictions to a healthier lifestyle.

I just hate the changes all around.

It has to be hard for Blizzard to try to make a 7 year old game fresh again using the same old mechanics in a different wrapper.

Time for Titan already.
