Feb 6th 2010 11:52AM "I hate leveling" to me is the same as "I hate WoW'. There is more to the game than just PvP and Raids. Lore, exploration, skill development are good things. It's OK to say "I wish Blizzard would make the earlier zones more interesting" or something like that but the concept of leveling is fundamental to MMORPGs.
Feb 4th 2010 3:50PM FWIW, I recently started having a blast with the 'everyquest' add-on that was mentioned somewhere here recently. It's allowing me to go back and casually do all the quests I managed to miss. I even found a quest on Teldrassil that I never knew about despite leveling 3 toons there over the years ("Mist").

Why bother doing things that make your character unique and valuable to your playing partners when some random nerf will come along later to wipe out that ability?
Why suffer through the lower levels of the game as a protection warrior or a holy priest when other classes will suddenly be able out-tank or out-heal you in the name of "balance"?
Blizzard's Lack of Respect for Our Hard Work -
And why are things STILL getting "balanced"? After however many years of playing, why is it still common to wake up one day and learn that your entire purpose for playing the game is about to be eliminated in the next patch in the name of "balance." It's nuts - especially from the PVE perspective.
We work hard - very hard - to develop our skills, our gear, our partnerships, etc. and Blizzard will just wipe out that effort one day with some random nerf in the name of (you guessed it) "balance." When you can't even count on a pure class retaining its pure roll - i.e. a warrior tanking - you can't count on anything, so why bother?
If the game developers think it is totally OK to wipe out months or even years of work without a second thought, I say play a different game.
