Is there a definitive list of all the boss loot tables from Ulduar available? I've checked wowhead and some bosses don't have all the info.

Also, where does this info come from? Does Blizzard hand it out or is it only updated as people do the bosses and report back what dropped?

If a hunter can just walk off and come 3rd in your raid for DPS, then 1) it must have been a fight where no-one is moving and 2) Everyone else must suck!

Lets say you're in Naxx25 as a MM hunter (Highest % damage from Autoshot) and it's Patchwerk. Lets also say you can do around 4k+ DPS with all your buffs and CDs. Autoshot & pets account for (and i'm being generous) around 25% of your DPS when you're not using anything, so lets say that leaves you with 1k DPS.

1k DPS is third in your raid?

I don't think it's possible for it to be that bad unless you were taking Lv50s! As that can't happen (Need to be 80+ to get in) I say Liar!

BUT anyway...

I don't have the numbers Blizzard has on Hunters DPS but they obviously knew this would only effect 25 man gear so in 10 man it should be fine. 1 of the weapons is from 10 man though and that is from the hard mode of the deconstructor.

What does puzzle me a little more is that this change will extend the gap between MM/SV and BM more as BM benefit less from the hunters DPS.

Apr 30th 2009 8:37AM I would level my fishing up to 450 and also complete all the seasonal quests - there's no way I have enough time to do this normally!

I'd also find some way of trapping the gold selling/power leveling spammers so that they couldn't log out - they'd have to close the application, surely wasting their time & annoy them!

25-man gear should not be better than 10-man gear {WoW}

Apr 1st 2009 6:57AM The Hardcore CAN have something to do if the loot was equal - Hard modes and achievements! See my suggestion above, it would require 10 man's to be re-tuned to me more difficult though (on par with 25 man).

Apr 1st 2009 6:46AM I agree with the OP on this i'm afraid.

I think gear should be matched to difficulty not to pain. Right now, if Naxx10 is harder than Naxx25 the gear should be better in Naxx10 but that's besides the point.

I think they should make the difficuly even in 10 and 25 man raids and have even drops. I understand that it's harder to balance the buffs etc in 10 man raids but they could make the mechanics of the raid more dependant on skills rather than player buffs to even the difficulty.

A lot of people I know, myself included, prefer 10 man raids because it's more fun; you have more of an important part to play and it's a lot tighter. Why punish the 10 man raiders with lesser gear? Even the challenge, even the gear.

If this kills off 25 man raids; who cares? If the loot is equal then if people ENJOY 25 man raids they'll continue to do it but if they don't they'll go 10 man. What's wrong with this? Maybe give the 25-man raids exclusive achievements/mounts etc for the elitists but not better gear.

I know a lot of hardcore won't agree with this but what if the "normal" mode 10 & 25 were the same but the "Hard" modes for 10 & 25 were also the same - this will give the hardcore the chance to get better gear, whether they enjoy 25 man or 10 man. Win Win. They could also make the loot drops a little more likely or at a higher quantity than 10 man so it makes up for the time investment difference (Lets say you get 3x the drops in 25 man vs. 10 man).

As for 5 man heroics - I can see how this would be hard to balance but you can get ilevel 200 drops from 5 man ones already. If anything, I think these are too easy to - they should make them as hard as MGT. I dont think it's unfair to expect 1 healer, 1 tank and some form of CC seeming as most class' can do it now - so balancing shouldn't be too hard. However, with only a daily lock-out there shouldn't be many epics to get here, so you could only get 2 or 3 slots full from heroic epic drops & emblems.

So to conclude my point, in an ideal world (in my opinion) the drops would be like this (using made up future iLevels)

iLevel 300
5-Man Heroics (harder than current ones)
10 Man Normal Raid
25 Man Normal Raid

iLevel 313
10 Man Hard Mode & Normal End-Boss
25 Man Hard Mode & Normal End-Noss

iLevel 326
10 Man Hard Mode End Boss
25 Man Hard Mode End Boss
