Dec 28th 2010 8:09AM I don't play when my girlfriend comes over. She used to play as well, so she doesn't mind me playing, but I would rather spend time with her than time online. My computer gets turned off long before she arrives so that she's not waiting on me to finish something up.
Dec 6th 2010 1:23PM I am a clicker! Gief moar to click!
Nov 21st 2010 1:59PM What about the Argent Dawn? Will we still be able to become Exalted with them, even though Strat/Scholo is changing?
Nov 12th 2010 2:13PM I'm having some trouble submitting a suggestion to the above email address. I am being told by AIM's mail program that there is an error with the address itself. :(
Aug 7th 2010 9:57AM I actually have a different rehab story.
My cousin has been in trouble with the law since he was a kid. Mostly drugs and alcohol. He's been in jail for over half my life, spread out across three different offenses. He moved to another state recently to get away from his old drinking buddies and try to get clean, but it didn't work. Now he's back home again.
We want to help him. So we're going to get him hooked on WoW.
He's got an addict's personality - he works during the day to get drug money, while looking forward to spending the night losing himself. WoW is an addictive game, and very easy to lose yourself in. Instead of going out and getting high at night, we're giving him an alternative that can still give him the rush he seeks, but won't screw up his body and get him thrown in jail again. We're going to be keeping his mind on the game to help him clean up.
He's actually psyched. He thought it was an amazing idea. And now with RealID, we'll be able to keep track of whether he's online or not. We can be his watchdogs.
Jul 18th 2010 10:37AM I've actually started developing a whole blog on this topic - Varying leveling styles, how to be efficient, and what to expect from each experience venue. :P I won't post the link because that would be a little tasteless, but it's amusing to see this crop up as a topic a week after I start writing about it on my own.
Jan 3rd 2010 10:24AM :O Oh man, that's a lot of stuff... Sign me up!
Apr 21st 2009 5:41PM Um, no, Blizzard has been promising us druids new skins for quite a while now. At the very least for the last two years (that's how long i've been playing one and checking the forums for more info on the subject.) We have every right to be concerned.
WoW is a very visually pleasing game, and it's frustrating to us that we like playing our class but hate seeing them in certain forms. Plus, for a good portion of the time we play, we look like every other druid out there, whether we're level 10 or 80, and in full greens or full epics. Not exactly much of a confidence booster for us to see people in all their shiny tier gear while raiding, while we see... the same feathery or furry butt we've had since day one.
Mar 26th 2009 10:50AM I've played WoW for a little over two years now, and it's always been very fun and addicting, but I have to say... The moment I got completely and totally hooked was when I took the free flight from Wintergarde Keep to Amberpine Lodge in WotLK. That Grizzly Hills music hit and I just lost track of time watching all of the scenery go by. It was absolutely amazing.
I spend all my free time in Grizzly Hills now. :)
