Jan 14th 2010 7:42PM I totally agree with the article and what Andrew said. I like to tank because... well maybe I have taken too many beats to the face, oh and I also hate bad tanks. As a tank I don't see bad tanks too often, but I do see bad dps A LOT!
Tanking is one of the harder jobs in the game.
We need to be able to build threat fast, usually on multiple targets.
We need to worry about the position of themselves and EVERY mob in combat.
We need to know what every mob is doing and who they are attacking.
Then add to this selfish dpsers who only care about the number they are outputting and it makes our jobs even harder.
Remember there are only so many taunts we have, and we have a priority on who we use it on. If the healer has pulled aggro then they get first dibs, if a dpser is constantly pulling aggro then it doesn't make us want to save you, a part of us wants you to die so you will no longer be making our job harder, and wasting the healer's mana.
Just be grateful that if you are like that and you get a good tank, because their professionalism will win over their wish to see you stomped into the ground.
Dec 13th 2009 10:27AM I can't speak for all stores, but with GAME (in the uk) when you preorder they just have it on record that you have preordered, and will save you a copy. They don't take any money until they ship (if you preorder online) or until you come to the store to collect it.
Also they will set a price, if it increases, you will still pay the original price (so you get it cheaper) or if the price drops then you will pay the new lower price.
I preordered Batman:AA from GAME and wasn't charged until the day it arrived, and it arrived at my door the day before its release. Needless to say I was ecstatic!
Sep 16th 2009 5:25AM Did this fight with a warrior tank with 37k fully buffed, and me (a protadin) with 41k buffed health, was really easy for us.
Sep 14th 2009 12:06PM Have to say the cat druid's eating animation made me laugh. It is just too cute!
I'm not sure if it is a new animation since the new models, but in the 3 years of playing, and a level 71 druid I have only recently noticed it.
Aug 21st 2009 8:06AM Id really like to go, but its not really feasible for me living in the UK. Maybe one year :D
Jul 11th 2009 5:45AM In 3.2 all badges will be Conquest or higher tho, so this is not really suprising.
Jul 7th 2009 5:00AM Surely the next time we go back there we should run into ourselves from the last time. Just a thought...
May 13th 2009 2:40PM This is awesome, regular curse client sucks in comparison!
Apr 15th 2009 4:44AM I'm definitely going to have a go at this! Good Luck everyone
Mar 27th 2009 9:53AM My real life name is Graeme, and it wasnt long before a friend of mine managed to remove some of the letters to get to Grem. I quite like this name, although it isnt as rare as I had hoped I usually use some kind of spin on it to get my names. For example I have a toon called Grem, one called Gremie and my latest main who is a draenei Paladin called Gremir. I chose it because Grem had already been taken on this server and I wanted something that Identified the character as me to my friends, yet sounded slightly russian because of the Draenei accent.
