Addon Spotlight: Loot addons 2 {WoW}

Dec 15th 2011 5:33PM I used to use both tekloot and greed beacon, tekloot though while showing the number of rolls doesn't show who rolled what on the icon box like a few other loot addons I have had in the past.

Recently though I found hfLootRoll, and have use that to replace both addons. Not only does it give nice clean roll bars but displays how many and who rolled on each item. Also will post who won the item at the end of the bar at the end of the roll. Which you can then set how fast it fades out or if it even will fade out after the rolling is done.

The Queue: Huzzah! {WoW}

Jan 28th 2011 12:06PM Archeology is not random at all, the dig sites are the only random element to it.

At first you will get 3 skill points per survey since the skill is orange and fresh, at 60 skill points it goes green and like normal it gives less skill points or wont give a point during survey. At 100 the survey skill goes grey and you can only level off completed projects. +5 per common project, +15 for rare projects.

The Queue: More on crowd control {WoW}

Dec 15th 2010 11:26PM Has this guild member recently switched factions ?

There is a bug since the choppers are different on each side that when the toon switches factions the pattern can't be used and trying to buy and learn the other factions pattern doesn't work.

Oct 1st 2010 6:13PM "another to take something away from people to force them to pay you additional money to get it back"

What exactly are they taking away and making you pay to get back ? The 1-60 level areas don't require Cataclysm to use. If anything they are giving a completely new leveling experience and streamlined questing to individuals who haven't purchased any expansion. You can argue that the nostalgia of the old zones may have had some monetary component, but honestly Blizzard has made a point of pointing out for 3 expansions now that they have no interest in going backwards and keeping everyone's rose tinted glasses clean. Change is a part of everything and I really don't see what compensation is required because some people can't adjust to it.

The Queue: Amazon now says January {WoW}

Sep 30th 2010 2:46PM The whole earthen ring thing disappoints me as a shaman since release.

It is THE shaman organization and has had a small presence since the game was released in one way or another. Even the shamans present as quest givers range from Dwarfs and Broken to Taunka and a goblin who tricks his elemental out with rocket launchers.

In all that though they treat my shaman like another mage or warlock who is just doing some quests. Kinda killed the whole experience for me. I didn't expect a special quest line or even a shaman city, but maybe something more then a "hello we have heard much about you" from the quest givers :(

Cataclysm beta removes portals from Dalaran and Shattrath {WoW}

Sep 27th 2010 2:00AM Funny thing I don't see mentioned from the, glad the portals are gone crowd, is the fact that Blizzard then steps over themselves by adding portals to the 80-85 zones.

If immersion and feeling part of the world is such an important issue that they feel the need to stop quick travel to cities we have all seen since the game came out and with the exception of Orgrimmar have basically changed very little. Then why have short cuts to get to Uldum/Twilight Highlands or Vash'jr. I mean all those zones are brand new content, they shouldn't even be allowing flight there like they didn't in Northrend so you can live and experience the zones the right way instead of flying over them and missing out on it.

I just smells hypocritical to claim to want a more connected world with 15m flight times to every zone. Then using fast teleports to new zones, and not raising any objection to them.

Sep 25th 2010 7:45PM She is still there, and now sells coffee too for some reason.

I would get it now though, the mount sells for Justice Points instead of Hero emblems, and from my experience Justice Points are really inflated compared to there old value. I think the mount is something like 2k Justice points. I forgot the conversion but i don't think they are giving you 10 JP for each Triumph badge.

The Queue: Hard mode is hard {WoW}

Sep 23rd 2010 1:40PM From my experience on the Beta servers with the 1-60 and some of the 80-82 leveling I doubt you will need more quest space. The way they have it working now, is you go to an area grab 3-4 quests turn them all in then the next 3-4 quests pop up. The old days of grabbing every quest in the zone and figuring out how to do them seems a thing of the past, so the 25 quest log limit should be more then adequate.

The Queue: Adam Holisky is a liar edition {WoW}

Sep 21st 2010 1:20PM It had no real effect, Cairne is replaced by Baine, Thrall by Garrosh, Magni was replaced by the Dwarf Council.

Sep 12th 2010 5:42PM Because in my world, a 16g download to answer a yes/no question is far from the definition of easy.

Yes, all pld/shaman gear that used to have mp5 now has spirit, same holds true for many mp5 trinkets like the purified lunar dust, which now just gives a huge amount of spirit on proc.
